He says that we are taking things slow but?

So I started talking to this guy a few months ago , he flat out told me he’s an old school type guy and is basically looking for his life partner and pretty early on he told me that he sees potential in me, even to this day he talks about how glad he is that he met me and he can see a future with me and he’s very excited for what the future may hold for us. He even talks about our future in person like he will be around very long term. We aren’t even an official couple yet but he’s been implying that he thinks I’m a potential fit … is that weird? He told me he does want kids but he doesn’t think he can have them bc if a genetic disease that runs in his family affecting the women in his family. But he also said he wouldn’t mind having a boy. The weird thing is he keeps saying to me “I feel like you want another baby” and said “if I can have a boy I wouldn’t mind having kids but it’d have to be a boy” is it weird that we aren’t dating but are talking about these things?

He know about all the others as well as me thinking we were exclusive till April. Not six months ago? I was old school too..

It’s not weird could just be he is nervous. It’s a better sign than nothing at all. Probably needs to grow up a bit and figure himself out and what he wants it is weird tho that he expects a woman to be able to chose what kind of gender the baby is to be. But other than that it’s all normal. Might need to make a small first move towards it tho.
