I've been seeing a guy for a few months and I felt it was time to ensure that I wasn't wasting my time so I told him that I'm looking for a real relationship and asked him where he stood on that. He didn't seem to mind talking about it at all, but he told me that while he wasn't at all opposed to the idea of being in a relationship with me, we could take things slow...

I always hear that this means he's just not that into me. Thoughts?

No he's had a girlfriend before, but not since he was 16 (he's 22 now)

Ahh so you're his first opportunity at an adult relationship. He obviously really likes you and doesn't want to let his lack of experience screw anything up. That's just what I'm taking from this but I'd just talk to him and do whatever it takes to make him comfortable with you. I really hope this works out for you two.
