What is your opinion of minor attracted persons?

You mean paedophiles? They freak me out. I feel disturbed and disgusted. I just can't understand what makes them so attracted to innocent litfle souls and the fact that these kids could be fooled and taken advantage of scares me even though I'm not a mother, but I feel protective of kids doesn't matter whose kid is it. I think those who are attracted to kids, should seek therapy before they let their desires take over their senses and commit a crime. If they have already committed a crime, I'd say they should be given life sentence.

So, pedofiles? If someone is attracted to minors they need to go to therapy, get appropriate medication and not be around children. You can’t control what you’re attracted to but you can control how you react to it. If someone acts on it then they need to taken out of the general population one way or another

They’re individuals with a harmful attraction that puts children at risk.

There’s a firm line here for me

Adults are responsible for managing their urges, getting treatment, and never crossing boundaries emotionally, physically, or online.

Attraction to minors is not something to normalize or soften.

Kids’ safety always comes first.

If someone has these urges, the only responsible path is professional help, strict boundaries, and zero access to situations where they could harm a child.

Protecting minors is the priority, always.

My gut reaction is get as far away from me as possible, especially now that I'm going to be a mom soon. On the other hand so long as they haven't acted on it and are in some kind of therapy program I guess they are fine... Just stay away from my kids

If you, as a legal adult, are attracted to underage children, I'd suggest you see a therapist to work with you to control these urges before you get into doing something illegal. There are many avenues to get help.

Do yourself a favor and do so. This isn't something you can get over alone.
