Why does everyone accuse you of being double minded or hypocritical?

I get some people (some of the same people) talk out of both sides of their mouth. But my gosh people there is two extremes… And if you are somwhere in the middle. People say “well in one post you said this and in another post you said that” and they didn’t take the time to read and comprehend the context.

I know that expression, "talk out of both sides of their mouth". Haven't heard it in a while.

I also know people like that. They talk to you very kindly when they want something from you but badmouth you behind your back or "playfully insult" and put you down.

It's a sign that they're insecure about themselves and would rather create a scandal than to talk about themselves or risk being discovered as a good for nothing.

People say I'm blunt like a wrecking ball but I don't hear much complains about my hypocrisy.
Of course some left leaning mental acrobats accused me of being a "bigot", when I wanted they explain what makes them reveal this conclusion, just emotional driven nonsense came as reply. I think it's irrelevant in mature discussion.

Maybe because people only see the surface.

Most of us change our minds when we learn, grow, or see things differently, that’s not hypocrisy, that’s being human.

But some people prefer simple labels over understanding the full picture.

As well as when it’s two totally different contexts. Like…. If I was explaining the rules of football and then later talked about volleyball. Those are two different things.

Exactly, context matters a lot.

Saying one thing in one situation and another in a completely different scenario isn’t hypocrisy, it’s adapting to circumstances or switching focus.

The problem is when someone contradicts themselves in the same context without reason, then it starts feeling like they’re double minded.

In all seriousness, I actually did get into some hard drugs back in college. It was a very qwik ride down a dead end street, so to speak, and I will NOT do them again.

So, anything after that is just me being naturally "tweaky". 😊
