No, I don't think that's true. While I'm sure there are some women that marry primarily for money, I think that's likely a pretty small percentage. I think most want the companionship and connection of a relationship. I know quite a few women that are the primary or sole source of income in their relationship, so clearly they didn't get into the relationship for financial gain.

My guess is that the percentage of women that marry primarily for money is pretty small, the number that stay single because they like the independence and don't really want the commitment of a serious relationship is larger, but that the majority of women want a good relationship and would prefer to be with a partner that treats them well even if they could afford to support themselves without a partner.

Well not women seeking relationships for a genuine connection and companionship. Ones who want to have families and such things.

Women who only marry for financial reasons well even a narcissist would probably still marry because there are other things that benefit them.

I think at least for now, most women would still want to get married. However, statistics show that an increasing amount of women are no longer interested in marriage, even more so than men. So that could shift in the future
