5 moMuch prefer voice notes because it gives me time to think about what I want to say or how to respond. It also gives me a better sense of the person and whether they're being sarcastic, joking, or being serious. And obviously me sending them voice notes will give them a better sense of who I am as well.
Voice notes until meeting up is ideal in my opinion. And texting when you're in a space you can't send voice notes easily.20 Reply

5 moPhone calls. Written communication is disconnected in time and lacks tone and nuance. It is easily misunderstood. Voice notes are also disconnected in time and one sided. I can get more done faster with less misunderstanding in a face to face conversation or a phone call. My hierarchy goes like this.
1.) Face to face.
2.) Phone call.
3.) Email.
4.) Text.
5.) Voice message.

u 5 moActual phone calls are far superior for conveying information, talking about feelings, and avoiding the misunderstandings that so often occur with texts.

5 moWhen we're just in the beginning stage, texting but a few phone calls here and there but once we are out of that stage, more phone calls than texting.
10 Reply 2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. I don’t like voice notes
Texting is fine for menial things
And anything time sensitive or important to discuss should be done over the phone
(Obviously in person is deal to all of that but I’m staying within the scope of the question)20 Reply- 6.5K opinions shared on Dating topic.
m 5 moI don't like voice notes at all... audio quality is awful (or is it just my phone... maybe my ears?) and for the same reason I generally prefer texting over phone calls, but I guess it really depends on the occasion and also the person
sometimes is just better and quicker/easier to make a call, and other times even more enjoyable as well
I'll guess on this one and I think you would prefer calls...10 Reply - 1.1K opinions shared on Dating topic.
5 moDepending on what for, it's either texting or phone calls.
I'm not too big in voice notes.
It can be cute and lovely to receive, if you hear a partner saying something and you can replay them.
But otherwise I prefer the other two options.10 Reply 892 opinions shared on Dating topic. I would rather receive a text message.
Most people don't even listen to voice notes/mail so you're never sure if they heard your message.🤷🏼♀️
I don't care to use my cellphone to talk. I have trouble hearing them and they always want to send me a text message to verify it's "really" me. So I use my landline phone and that's a lot easier.10 Reply
5 moTexting.
It gives me space to think, choose my words, and be present without rushing.
Voice notes or calls are fine when the conversation needs tone or emotion,
but texting feels the most natural and comfortable for me.30 ReplyI don't like voice calls. Texting or phone calls are ok. It depends on the situation. If I have to tell something important and detailed phone call is more suitable but otherwise texting is better to prefer, my lady (remember did you let me call you my lady before so I am calling you like that 😐
20 ReplyUsually texting, hardly ever voice mail. Anything work related works best this way. Phone calls can be invasive if done at the wrong time.

5 moIf it's something that we don't require to have a whole conversation just text me. If we need to discuss a few things then give me a call.
