I rather have someone call and be like let's meet up but since that doesn't really happen often, I try my best to text
With people that I know better, I will send voice mails or just call them
I ultimately like in-person.. But I sort of prefer phone but hear people's voice, but at the same time I don't like to be on the phone that long.. Lol.. Especially if we don't talk about anything, then I will feel like I'm sort of wastin my time.. LOL.. I feel like that's not the best way to think.. Haha.. It all depends though.. If I actually like you, or find you enjoyable to talk to, then I probably would wannabe on the phone more..
Noo I get you haha I also feel that way, that's why I mostly just call people that I know better and if the talk gets awkward I can easily say that I have stuff to do and talk to them later again
Sometimes you just don't know what to say lol
Exactly! Haha
I used to prefer calls but I've slowly gotten accustomed to texts over the years and now I very very rarely call anybody. Texting is just easier and more convenient. Though I still love having conversations face to face 🙂
Texting. But if I have no time or have to quickly tell somebody something I prefer calling them because if I sent it by text there's a possibility of them not reading it right away or me not sending it quick enough plus if I want to say a lot of things quickly or if I want to explain something complex I also prefer calling.
I prefer texting as I can answer when I want or can.

I prefer to text, it gives me time to think about what I want to say or responses to people's questions. Also, my current phone does weird things with phone calls - I can hear the other person perfectly fine and they can hear me fine, but then after about 10-20 seconds, they can barely hear me and I have to shout.
Text. It's silent, discrete, it's parallel…
But meeting in person is good as well. But! Only with those, with whom I've established previous contact. Via text-based medium.
It shows you something. If the other person is not capable to write correctly in their native language, then…stay away.
I prefer to text because most of the time I’m at work and I can’t be talking on the phone with so many snitches around. But if I get the chance, I prefer to FaceTime, phone call or face to face talk.
Phone call. My grandmother texts me more than I her, as an example.
The people I text are normally people I am not close to, which is a lot of people. At the same time I will usually not text too much. So, not exactly like we'll be having debates over text.
There are some people I exclusively text simply because the time zone issue to too great when paired with work schedules.
Talking on the phone. I usually just get on tinder for fun but had a guy legitimatly call me, have a 2 hour in depth conversation and ask me on a date.
Needless to say even with my close to impossible high standards, i dated the guy almost 2 years
I normally would say texting, but in a world full of distractions and nobody likes to face each other, I'd go will with talking in person, "human interaction," and I miss that, *meh* like the old man in the "Sharkshank Redemption," movie, the world done got itself in a big hurry.
For some reason, I’m funnier via text than on phone...
I do prefer phone though. I prefer face to face the best; this is actually my favorite way of talking to anyone.
Both. Text in the beginning for small convos or setting dates. Talk later for deep convos.
I love sexting tho. I dont like phone sex. But sexting is hot.
That really depends on the person I'm talking to... With my best friends I like to call. It's easier and more fun, but I'm not comfortable with calling with everyone😅
Here is my personal hierarchy: face to face, phone, handwritten note, carrier pigeon, pony express, snail mail, email, text.
I like calling/FaceTiming more but not just with random people. Usually my friends or someone I can easily talk to.
Between texting and calling, I prefer texting. Between texting or talking in person, in person all the way
There's no feeling in a text. The interaction is imaginary. I prefer to hear how a person is reacting.
I prefer to talk for like 5 minutes to set something up and then talk in person.
Wait, you can actually TALK on phones now? Wow, smartphones get more impressive every year. :O
Phone. I hate texting especially with ny hand pain rn
Most people I prefer texting. People who matter to me I call.
I find text easier. Though do video chat girlfriend if not seeing her that day
My phone can't text it had a cord and hangs on the wall. So I don't worry about it
Depends on how close. i am to the person. I prefer calls and f2f with people I am. close. to
Calls are more better , text messages are overrated.
I definitely prefer talking. I find it bizarre that two people holding phones type back and forth to communicate.
It's easier to text but I also like to see the person when I talk to them.
I would rather have a quick call then texting back & forth.
It’s more personal to talk to them, especially if you have a lot to say.
My choice would be to go and talk to them, that’s how I was brought up.
I text for the convenience. For people I'm closer to, or have to call for business reasons, I'd rather speak to vocally (if face-to-face isn't an option).
Talk in person>>video chat>>>>>>texting>>>>>>phone calls
I absolutely hate phone calls.
Calls are easier and quicker for us and you can't beat hearing a voice.
Text cause lot of times you can understand what their saying.
I like texting before I call them. Get to know better before a voice conversation
Talking on the phone is better, you can word your thoughts quicker
I prefer text over talking on the phone but nothing beats talkin person to person.
calls. I dont much care about texting, I like hearing a voice when Im having a bad day
I prefer face to face but I also don’t mind texting
But I like to speak some one too.. but that doesn't happen.. dint even happen
Friends: texting. Boyfriend: phone call.
I have chubby fingers
i prefer to call / be called
It's a lot faster to talk than type. :)
I prefer in person much better
Texting mostly due to shyness.
Either or is cool.
I am a shy person so texting is better for me
