I met this guy 3 months ago but we hardly talked and 3 weeks ago we started to actually have a conversation but I could only meet him once a week so we exchanged numbers he helped me with notes and we were texting contsistenly for almost 3 days. After that when we met in person he was very warm he wished me good luck for my exam told me how his week went and he was the one to approach me first. And suddenly over the weekend he left me on delivered. I’m pretty sure he likes me back but why is he behaving this way. Also he’s very shy in person. And we didn’t have any fights or disagreements or crossed any boundaries everything was fine his last text was literally a question.

He could’ve been busy over the weekend but in any case, he just may not be interested in pursuing the same thing that you are. You don’t know what he’s got going on in his personal life aside from school, or it could even be a matter of him not being interested in pursuing romance at all right now. Doing that means having to make someone a priority, which is a commitment he may not be able to make at the time. Shyness isn’t going to make him go from talking to you consistently to not at all, if anything I think it’d be the opposite. It’s only been like a day though, this is just speculation.
