Why are guys like this?

This guy I had been working with for a year now decided to approach me. He asked for my number. He dropped me off once after work. He asked to go out with me once but I couldn’t go because I couldn’t get anyone to watch my son. Fast forward to today and I knew I would be kid free. So, I asked him if he wanted to take me bowling. He said he couldn’t go. I told him okay. Maybe another time. I ended going to a little painting event. I posted my painting on IG. He sees the story/post and he texts me right after and asked me how my day was. I told him and said I went to a painting. A couple of hours later he posted on his IG, him bowling. Now I kind of have an idea of what kind of guy he is.

Did he know you had a kid in the beginning?

Yes. He has kids as well. His are older though. My son is two. When I asked him if he wanted to take me bowling and mentioned that I was kid free his exact response was “I’m not kid free.” In which I said “Aww. Maybe another time.” Honestly I think when he saw I wasn’t waiting around for him to change his mind about taking me bowling and still had other plans, it kind of irritated him. So, him going bowling anyway and showing me that he did go bowling was his way of getting back at me. It’s all weird because it’s not like we’re actually together. We talk then and there but it’s nothing serious. So the fact he got in his feelings is odd especially when he was the one who basically told me “no.”

Maybe he just doesn’t want to deal w a younger kid. There’s times when men don’t want to deal w other men’s kids but are one the girl being w his kids. I think there’s a difference between when men have the kids and women have the kids. He may have actually met someone else he likes more that he want w. Have you talked to him since then.

Maybe so but yes I’ve heard from him. Like I said he’s like most guys. He’s playing a game. Sort of in a way he’s testing me to see how far I’ll let him go. Will I wait around for him? He wants to know how much I like him. How “crazy” I am over him.

Then move on. Not worth playing games. That’s being childish to me to play these games to see how much someone likes them.
