Yes, and these people are their own worst enemy. They just cannot figure out why anyone (worth their salt) would want to date them at least long term. When they have a laundry list of expectations they don’t hold themselves to and don’t have really much of value to contribute to a relationship.

They feel entitled to the kind of people they’re wanting without wanting people they don’t want feeling entitled to them. Obviously it’s good to have standards and seek what you want. But they’re people who don’t have much to offer back…. And feel entitled in their own sense.

If you’re a man who takes zero care of even the most basic hygiene. But bitching you can’t get a super model. Doing nothing but hating women for being women… Why does a woman whose a supermodel want you?

If you’re a woman whose extremely financially irresponsible and has a sexual history. But she wants a man who is financially stable and who is loyal. Why would a man like that want her?

If you’re a man who sleeps around with 100s of women. But want to marry a virgin. Why would a virgin woman whose intentionally saving herself want you dude?

Some people really should be undatable, but people will date them anyway. I read about an insufferable, abusive misogynist who literally didn’t shower for years. People said he smelled bad and looked gross yet he had an entire harem of women who would do anything for him. One of them even obtained children for him to rape. Maybe temporarily but I do not think anyone is permanently undatable, I think the main reasons that people who want to be in a relationship stay single are two sides of the same coin which is first, you have to be confident enough to go for it, and second, you may need to be realistic about who will say yes. So basically it’s understanding what the other person is thinking or at least having good guesses.

Some people are single bc they want to be and that is also great!

No, I think there is someone out there for everyone but may not be easy to find. A person considered undateable would be someone not willing to put the effort into finding that other person.

Well If someone's already married or in a monogamous relationship, they're undateable. If someone is married to their work and hasn't figured out how to make space in their life for love, they're undateable. If someone is unwilling to communicate they truly, truly will not engage with you, they're undateable.
