Would you date someone who spends most of their time at home?

I spend a lot of time at home. I also have travelled more than anyone you know, I would bet on it… for starters all 7 continents and many of them more than once, some 70 times. My wife never really travelled before me but has now been to 5 continent and will be at number 6 this year. We were scheduled to do Africa last year but needed to cancel due to political upheaval.

I bought a new car in June and already have 14,000 miles on it so you could annualize that to over 25,000 miles. I feel like a homebody though and am often at home. I have always been adventurous but also a homebody. I have seen and done much of what the world offers but home is relaxing.

Yeah. I'm one myself. But conversely, I'm also extremely adventurous, and a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so I'd like if we go out and do fun stuff once in a while like camping, kayaking, skydiving, windsurfing, rockclimbing, etc.

I mean that's basically my lifestyle to a t, lol. My severe social anxiety and other severe mental and emotional issues make it very hard for me to leave the house period. Would be INCREDIBLY hypocritical for me to reject someone for the same reasons. 😅

Possibly , depends on the reasons they currently / would spend most of their time at home.

I mean is it because they are single? , is it because they cannot afford to do much else due to the unreasonable expense of just living a single life? Or is it more complex , such a mental or emotional issues?

Absolutely, I am an indoors person to so I see that as a sign were compatible.
My main issue is that even though we match well on that it makes you hard to find, so my type is the hardest to find as we wouldn't have outdoor hobbies in common.

Yes. If she was into gaming too, that would actually be ideal for me. We could play through Gloomhaven together, Zombicide, Raxxon, and other co-op board games, plus plenty of video games too. We could even add it as a series on my YouTube channel. :)

Hopefully she occasionally likes to do outdoor stuff too like going on a bike ride in the Spring/Fall when the weather is good.

It works for me since I spend most of my time at home. Even when I had a job, it was a work from home job.
