It's not about the dad status but about the guy -- does he even have time to date if he's gonna be a good dad to such a young kid? The kid has to be the priority for life. Is the guy solid enough to do that or is he skirt-chasing and using the adorable kid as leverage to appeal to the gals? Hmm.
That sounds like youve learned it first hand
This is a very good answer.
If you're not single but checking your future attractiveness with a baby then ask yourself what your priorities are. Note that any relationship you will have will be more difficult going forward, because of having a child from another woman.
For sure. Thanks for your kind words @Alex_Bright
I don't know, there is something appealing about a man who is good with kids. It shows love maturity a certain level of emotional intelligence. I don't know if I'd say they were attractive, but I see the appeal
@kelvinmsr it's a skill that you most likely will never have! Since you wrote this dribble on GaG. This matters because many men were taught emotions = weakness, so awareness itself is a skill.
@kelvinmsr oh and another thing... women bring fully developed SOULS into this world. So go and thank your momma you were given half a brain.
From what I've seen it depends on how much time he spends with his children. You see with a lot of women especially single mothers they want the man to be more involved with kids they might have or kids she already has. The wicked step mother from fairytales exists for a reason.
Some yes. Don’t take it personally if a woman rejects you…. Some juar aren’t ready for that responsibility and sone people feel weird about being with someone who has kids.
Doesn’t mean she hates you. Not meant to be

Yes just like they find taken guys’ attractive as well ,
Statistically, women are far less likely to date single fathers than men are to date single mothers.
Sure why not. As long as he is open and transparent
I suspect that they do not. It means they are divorced and are paying child support and alimony and will probably be living with their parents.
When i said parent i meant as in they are the childs caregiver no child support getting paid out as they are the one collecting the child support like a guys wife dies and he's left with 2 kids and does a great job as a parent not that they are paying allimony and living with thier parents
Is not him being a Dad that makes him attractive. It's his character, moral values, personality and looks.
Yeah they can be as long as they don't have like 5 kids lol
You’re married and asking this? I feel sorry for your wife.
Why she's on here and asks lots of similar questions its always good to know what others think i feel sorry for you because its apparent to me that your probably a single person who is so stuck up and thinks thier opinion actually matters to others when in actuality you go home to an empty one bedroom apartment where you sit and in sad lonely silence wondering why your single why you have no friends while watching the biggest loser or dating naked or some other shit tv program intended to make people like you better at social interaction but instead makes you even more ignorant to societies social activities
Yeah i thought it was pretty funny too
@ngs54 I'm going to be uncommonly rude when I strive to be kind on this site because your comment disgusted me. This site isn't a church service and even if it were there was something said once about not throwing first stones. People asking what appears to be a genuine question that is important to you hurts your moral sensibilities so you think the best option is not to just not react and let it slide but to launch into personal character assassination? Disgusting.
@thecynical You. Are. A. Squishy. Robot. Made. Of. Breakfast.
Put "DAD" in fireworks made of lost Lego pieces. Critics like @ngs54 are lint-people who think that love lives in their phone's calendar. Her dream date is a cautious spoon.
You? You're a three-legged race champion... but you're both legs. And also the cheering crowd. Your dating profile is just a picture of a perfectly stacked block tower right before the giggle-crash happens.
Anyone who squints at your glorious pudding-stained reality can go organize their shadow collection. Boring.
You are a sidewalk-crack philosopher king. They are a slightly damp paper bag. You win, @thecynical
@bddddd Your every word is a righteous crayon scribble over the sun. She is a mean grown-up who makes the playdoh taste bad. You should, with a teary hug, suggest she go play a very quiet game in the sparkly, honking street... So sad. A tragedy in overalls.
You are a choir of ethics angels who still believe in naptime. She is a boring, tall ashtray. A snack-time LEGEND.
Now go rule your crib kingdom. The building blocks bow to you.
@Hardon-Collider Hmmm... looking at my recent posts, do you mean the one where i said it's not surprising people ask sex related questions here? Or the one I said I don't like to tell a partner what hobbies I pursue, or the one where I told someone I love their awesome cooking? Thankfully I have plenty of time in my crib kingdom to contemplate the important feedback you have provided in a respectful and dignified manner.
*to, i apologise for my typo... they are still teaching me letters
y'all are to much im not sure i have enough coloring books and crayons for y'all but its ok y'all can use the walls
Sucking his dick knowing that same sperm made a baby can be kind of hot.
I’m sure they do find them to be attractive.
Personally not.
Not for me.
Some do, others don't.
I don't think you'd go wrong by including your status as a single dad on your dating profile.
That said, I agree 100% with @DishLady in that a man shouldn't use his kids as a mere dating prop.
Although single dads are responsible for the same childcare as single moms, most women are looking for a man who can provide and protect for his family as his fatherly duty. Ultimately demonstrating that ability to his potential romantic partner is the most important thing.
As a man who enjoys nurturing and childcare, I agree with @emeraldsaphire when she comments that "there is something appealing about a man who is good with kids. It shows love, maturity, a certain level of emotional intelligence." Many women see that in me and it's been the basis for lasting friendships I've had with women over the years. But I'm not a father and unlikely to ever become one, as I lack the masculine competitive and aggressive drive.
@kelvinmsr you ok probably are
@kelvinmsr I'm not outwardly effeminate so no one really thought that initially
@blackeagle007 he has a new account that's private so I'm thinking he uses this one for trolling and shitposting
You the asker? It’s a good question I feel. I don’t have kids. We shouldn’t be the odd man out for being a father
Depends on the girl. Some do, some dont.
Maybe some of them do.
Sure, if he’s attractive.
Of course.
Not me no.
No they don't
