Trending & News Only for a short time maybe someone’s going back to dating again… But over a period of time if they’re not over their ex. They aren’t really that into you… Some people are using you as a means to make their ex jealous. A lot of times if they are successful they will dump you. If they’re unsuccessful. They will dump you.
Another issue is that people are seeking the same thing as before. They expect you to be like their ex maybe you remind them of their ex. But will become resentful when it’s not the same. Again…. Problem.
Then again…. Some people are getting back into dating. Trying to move on…. And trying to meet new people. That’s all great. But again…. You wanna be careful. Some people will be back with their ex or cheat with their ex when they have a opportunity. So make sure someone has integrity.
Its not illegal, but the odds are that you will serve a purpose and then be dropped for someone else. You may want to blame the scoundrel who used you as a rebound, but you are the one who allowed it to happen. It is POSSIBLE for a rebound relationship to ultimately succeed but you should proceed slowly and not jump into bed with the guy for at least7 the first 2-3 months.
Thanks for MHO!

I mean... how would you know you're a "rebound"? The person would have to be an idiot to CALL you that and you'd have to be an idiot to accept anything less than an actual relationship.
I think we have all been there before and we either except it or move on i think I have always know when it was happening and there were times I went with it and times I walked
Yes, some of my rebound relationships ended being the best relationships
Not for me or anyone with any self respect 😂
It's risky to be a rebound. Rebound is a real phenomenon. A person who is rebounding from a recent breakup or divorce is in emotional agony. He or she is not really emotionally available to you. They can be very attracted to you and may grab onto you as a band-aid for a while. But until they heal, they cannot commit to you and are like to back off, because they're not ready. You might, on the other hand, have fallen for them and will get very hurt. If you learn that they are on a rebound, protect yourself emotionally. Don't date them.
As long as you’re upfront about it I don’t see why not
I have fond memories with rebound sex
It’s just something people do.
No point in overthinking it.
It’s not ok to be a rebound hoping it turns into something more
That’s a toxic relationship waiting to happen
(Spoiler: I’d do that anyway)
Most people are rebounds, whether you like it or not.
Yes it's ok, but only if you're at a point in life where this is in line with your needs as well. Don't listen to endless stories about their ex and don't get hopes up. If it's positive and rewarding then that's ok in my book.
Yes, just be aware of what it is. It's also important to take stock of things after a breakup and see what we need to work on.
If you go into it knowing you're the rebound then what's the harm in having a little fun without the commitment.
I’ve been one for girls many times… it is what it is.
Can't win a basketball game without rebounding
Maybe if you're a basketball. Otherwise, no.
Yes but do you want to be a rebound?
Maybe not... id perfer not to be one
No because it rarely works out
No one deserves to be a rebound
No because it will not last
It's your personal choice.
Not in my opinion
It's not healthy
no no way.
