I am 25 years old. I met a man a month ago, since then we haven't stopped texting each other. We have been on two dates in the last two weeks. He invited me now for sleepover. I really like this guy and every night I imagine having sex with him. I wonder is it too soon to have sex. With my previous partner we waited several months before we had sex. I am afraid if I give him sex now that he might loose interest in me. How many dates and how long did you wait until you had sex?

There's no such thing as "too soon", but there may be "too soon for you". If a man rejects you because you had sex with him too early, he's a judgmental ass, not someone you want for a partner. Have sex because you want to have sex, and hope it's enjoyable. Then you will never feel "played". Don't try to trade sex for commitment or love -- it's not possible.

I'm not going to tell you a magic number. My advice would be to not sleep with him until you're both sure of what you want from this. Do not rush things. I would wait and have long conversations about what I want and expect for the future and see if he wants the same as me.
