Is it normal if this guy offered yoga and sauna on a first date, followed by dinner at his home?

Of course this could be a stretch but to me it sounds like he’s gearing you up for casual sex. In yoga he gets to watch your body stretch, seeing how flexible and fit you are. In the sauna you’re usually only in a towel so there he can check you out more, except semi naked and sweaty. The dinner would be the only time you really get to chat one on one, and by then you’re at his house, all relaxed from the sauna, probably loose from the wine or drinks you’d have with dinner and then ready for bed.


Obviously I could be wrong, thinking too far outside the box and this could just be his way of trying to create a memorable date. Since you don’t really know this guy, I’d say nothing’s too far fetched to think, it’s fair to at least consider. So maybe this sort of plan could be towards a second or even the third date. Make the first one something like dinner or coffee/drinks where you get to chat from start to finish and then go about your way afterwards.

If the yoga and sauna was at a public gym and you dressed there and went out to eat, I think that would be an interesting and relaxing start to a date.

Dinner at HIS house afterward sounds like he wants to end up in bed with you. Unless that's your goal too, I'd bow out of a dinner in someone 's home on a FIRST date.

I would not expect you'd know a first date person well enough to be alone with them at their home.
