Got invited to a guy's home for dinner, is that just a way for him to try and get sex?

So a guy I met online and have been talking to for a while invited me to his house for dinner. He is apparently a good cook. He told me it's going to be salmon. I'm wondering, is inviting a woman to his house and cooking for her just a way to try and get sex? He seems very nice and kind and talks a lot about his kids and says he's looking for a long term relationship. Does he want sex only or is he interested in me for real?
