Do men not see over the top short responses are fake?

A over the top response 9/10 is forced. Sure, I can’t speak for all women but a lot of times a over the top response is her forcing herself to be nice. Especially if she’s in a professional environment where she has to be whether you’re a customer, coworker, etc. Also, she doesn’t want to look like a bitch to everyone and many times genuinely doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.

But if she says really loud “OHH/AWWW thank you!* it’s probably a forced reaction. Many times girls actually get pretty shy around guys they like, don’t confuse that with being nervous or scared of you for bad reasons.

It’s even more fake if she reacts like that and immediately walks or turns away from you.

Some women are confident don’t get me wrong but you can still tell a genuine reaction from a a fake one. If she smiles are is more engaged. Not trying to find reasons to walk away. Or just walks off…

I don't disagree, but I will say that on a professional level it is necessary to act friendly and engage with a customer whether it is genuine or not. And sure, that is still technically fake if it is not genuine, however it is also part of the job.

We went in for my first baby ultrasound at 10 weeks. The technician was going "Awww" and "so cute" and stuff like that. Which is what I was thinking, but at this point the baby literally looks like a potato with nubs. I don't think some random person would genuinely think that it was adorable like I did, because it's not their baby. And it did feel forced and fake. But I don't fault her for it, because she was just trying to do her job and be nice.

Sometimes , I'm actually sincere when I give a loud, short response. I'm not always faking it.
