I kind of feel the same way about people who say they're autistic. Back in my day they just called those people, "retarded" and they all had a special class in school for them. Now I don't care if you are stupid or just have a learning disability. But now they create a new name for it and say, "I can't read emotions" and 💩. Now I know there ARE people with severe Autism. But you have a lot of people that simply do not want to learn how to be functioning adults. Most of them are just selfish people who do not think beyond themselves. It's no f***ing wonder they can't read emotions. They don't care about other people's emotions until it affects THEM in some way. There was a time when people would actually be ashamed of a label like this. It boggles my mind how many people today would rather say they're stupid and have the world cater to them instead.

You're referring to emotive reasoning I think. Yes with emotive reasoning you can be contradictory and just self justifying. "I'm just that way" can justify anything but doesn't.

But someone being "stupid" one time can be given grace. But someone doing stupid things over and over cannot; and should not.
