Dinner and a movie can be over $200 bucks now... have you cut back on dating?
Depends how you count.
If you see it as investment on the future to your future partner, it is priceless.
Sure, when I was single, studied, alone with a kid I know:
Gas for driving, price to enter a disco or event, drinks...
Then I know maybe 80 bucks I need for some hours. That was too expensive for me.
Nowadays there is less here. Driving - and I know that I need service every 15,000 kilometers which fast go - I drive to work and daily life - so I don't want to take a day off for service plus costs more than 2 times per year. New tires are expensive too. I don't know how much tires in other countries cost. All those following costs I need to know because I need to look after my money. To go out to get to know someone is expensive.
Life is not for free.
Maybe you don't meet your love but a good friend for life?
Or you learn anything new about life or people?
Of course you only cam spend money if ypu have money. So maybe you only go dinner to invite? And if you want to meet again it maybe can be the movie or anything else? So you do not do everything on one day?
I prefer not to rush so for me I like dinner and both can sleep a night over it and decide if there is a next time?
Maybe I am different?
I don't know much about dating.
I am open to hear, how a classic date includes.
In Germany, you halfen the costs or one time the man pays and the next time the woman. Depends the level.00 Reply

Fairly often we will go, either as a date or with friends, see a movie then eat at Freddy's afterwards. But that does not cost us even $100, even when we buy popcorn and drinks at the movie.

3 moI date sometimes, but I avoid it whenever possible. I’m a man so I’m not a big fan of this dynamic where I have to continually blow money to entertain and spend time with a woman who would never consider pulling her wallet out and uses all her money to invest in her future like I should be doing.
no shade on guy enjoy spending money on women Unless you’re rich is pretty stupid. I’ve been out to sports bars two Saturdays in a row to watch UFC fights and I spent 70 bucks on just myself each time.
My advice to guys is to focus on the women that like you. If you can find a woman who is interested in you for you, they don’t require you to jump through all those hoops and waste money. Women who like you and enjoy being in your presence it doesn’t matter what the fuck you do.
The woman who talk about the bare minimum and all these dating standards they have will drop everyone of those dating standards for a man they’re actually sexually attracted to

3 moIf you feel like you have to spend that much money to date someone….. you really don’t. Once you get to know someone you can literally cook dinner together and watch a Netflix movie or watch TV…
Especially first dates. Coffee and second a walk around the park. Picnics. If a woman’s really interested in you…. She will want to spend time with you and get to know you. If she’s only wanting expensive dates. She’s probably using you…. Point blank.

3 moI date my wife all the time, like we can go to Walmart, or dinner or whatever. But if it's first dates and such, wow, pretty tough, have to get creative.
You could go around and pickup cans and bottles together and recycle them. Then use the proceeds to buy coffee. LOL! That will speak volumes about each other.
00 Reply Yes , not out of cheapness, but clarity.
Dating started to feel tied to spending instead of connection. If someone needs expensive plans to stay interested, we’re not aligned.
Simple time together tells you more about a person than a big bill ever will. I’d rather date less and choose better.00 Reply- 929 opinions shared on Dating topic.
m 3 moDating is expensive? I never really spent more than a couple of € to have a drink with a girl, my buddies have a similar experience. Dating in a restaurant? Not a world I know of, it's much too solemn a place for my tastes.
And if I did want to do that, there are fair restaurants for like 20€, I can find restaurants at 200 bucks sure but for dating? What the hell 😂

3 mo😅 nope, back when I was poor in my early 20s I went on Tinder for the sole purpose of meeting guys to take me out to dinner and to the movies.
I did cost me a bit in make up, but I think it was worth it.

Anonymous(30-35)3 mo@Spencer10 lol it's hard enough even just trying to find the time for a woman in a ever-busy world - and no doubt women must think the same who are single that they 'may not feel like they have the time for a relationship lol"

00 ReplySimple solution is to not date. No woman is worth spending even a dollar on. They just use and hurt you and move on to do the same to the next guy.
