Brutal honesty. I may not like it, but at least I know what I'm dealing with, and can make appropriate, informed decisions. If I'm told lies, then I'm not going to be able to do anything effective to fix anything.

Sweet lies also break trust when something bad happens that you did not know could because the sweet lie

Brutal… I rather be in pain and face the truth than be deceived and a fool with sweet lies. Brutal honesty is temporary pain in my opinion. Sweet lies is more long-term damage and chaos to me.

I don't really care anymore. I expect lies. If you lie to me I'll weed through them and if you are a consistent liar I'll eventually banish you from my life. If you tell the truth (and what is the truth anyway? Your version of it?) And we get along then cool. If you're brutally honest but I think you're kind of an a**hole, gain I'll banish you from my life.

Life is short and not worth keeping people in it that make you unhappy.
