Anonymous(45 Plus)1 moA major majority of men would. A lot of women won’t. Women are more concerned w what he has, what does he do, how much does he make, etc, etc. Men will date a cute ass girl living in a cardboard box. We’ll date a girl working the drive-thru at McDonald’s. Women tend to want a man who makes as much as them or more because they still expect him to take care of a majority of the bills. That’s a big part of the reason why men don’t care how much women make cause she’s not going to be the bread winner by taking over a majority of the bills. She’s going to leave him more than likely to find someone who will still take care of almost everything financially.

m 1 moit depends
whether or not I would have an interest in someone would be based on so many factors and not just this one alone
but even if I considered this factor as well... I would still like to know why, don't they have a job, for example... maybe they got laid off randomly, or maybe they just got out of prison because of a crime they committed at their last place of work, so...
what is it?00 Reply
1 moI wouldn't date him if he doesn't have a job. Thats not what I would want for myself. If he's unable to work like he's on disability and able to provide a bit for himself yes I would

That is no answer. Should I ask Alexa?
1 moIt's ok if it's temporary and he is actively looking for one or is going to school and has a plan. Just never has a job? No one wants to deal with that.

2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I earn well so I'd be OK with a stay at home. That would not make her a dead weight
Relationships can be expanding cakes. If she facilitated me in working more hours then her contribution would be financial, as collectively we would be earning more money than if I was on my own. You work better if you are happy and in good spirits you are more productive as well.
With the right girl I wouldn't care if she didn't have a job.

Anonymous(25-29)1 moYeah. I don't have a long term career right now (my choice). It is harder than ever to get into the workforce as a young worker, especially something actually desirable. I'm not going to date someone for their earning potential, so I would like to make sure they have the same opinion.
00 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes, as long as she's doing something and not lazy. Ideally, in this economy, she would work part time or have something creative that pays her. If she's just sitting home all day, then not cool.
00 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Of course, the opposite is more of a problem honestly.
Unless they have a job they really like, it would be weird for me to want them to waste half their life doing something they don't enjoy?05 Reply- 1 mo
@Levin That seems like a you problem. I never have worked nor never will.
I would say if you don't like it go vote but we all know that won't change a thing in our government.
Also as AI will start to take more jobs, only expect it to become worse.
Your problem isn't with me, it's with the government that allows this.
I'm just benefiting from what they allow as ya know a logical move which if your a business guy ya would understand, I ain't going to deprive myself of wealth by working which is what would happen since I'd then have to pay rent, tax and would barely make any difference with how high rent is, we both know that makes no sense.
I would need maybe a 40k job for it to be worth it, and we all know someone with no experience and never worked ain't going to get that, you can barely get hired for Min wage jobs as I never got a single interview despite applying to many in my 1st year of uc. - 1 mo
Alright, I'm more confused than anything. If you're on the equivalent of JSA isn't that like 90 quid a week? You can hardly live off that.
So I presume you're on something more. I presume you have to be 'incapacitated' or some shit to be getting more than that. Otherwise, brown/Muslim, which maybe you are?
Yes, we have shitty systems in place. Yes, work doesn't pay. I have been unemployed. I had no work experience. Yes, it was humiliating getting denial after denial. Yes, it was humiliating sucking JSA cock. Yes, it was hard, if not impossible to get employed. I did though.
For self-respect purposes, being employed is better than being employed. Don't get me wrong, being employed working for an awful business is shit too, just less shit. But I suppose it depends on how you spend your days. If you spend it wanking off, going on the hub, gaming, sucking JSA cock, youtubing, etc, then that is pretty tragic. That kind of life is not sustainable and will leave you with fuck all by the time you hit 30. Everything catches up to us, but to each their own.
And no, I'm no business-man but I don't advocate doing what you can, to get all you can, in any given situation. That's what the spineless cowards did during covid. And you know what? They are pieces of shit. It will come back to them in some form. - 1 mo
@Levin I get like 1000 a month and my rent paid for me. High pip+Uc. And I do have issues besides laziness but even if I didn't I would still try to live the way I do right now.
Think about this the major reason to be rich is to have free time not to work? Guess what I already have?
If you have to gain self respect from working then you have none, average folk fall into that train of thought lucky for me.
Well then you'll probably suck at business, the whole point is to get all you can and make the most profit, use the system in your favor, not be kind about it. Ever wonder why most successful businesses are ran by the cold calculated?
Your points are based on emotion and belief, but lack in calculated logic. And I don't care about emotional arguments, so no point using those on me.
You believe it's unstainable yet it has been for years now, and everything indicates it will become more so with how society only becomes more socialist as time goes on.
Only 5 years until I'm 30, time will go by quick as it has been and nothing will be different the patten is obvious. It would take a truly catastrophic event to set us back which at that case we are all screwed anyway.
And no I'm not Muslim, or an immigrant, and I agree with sending them home but the fact you jumped to that with no evidence say's a lot about you.
Sending them home would be a benefit to me as it means they can allocate even more funds to citizens like myself. And that's the irony even if you vote for reform or restore that'd help me most likely.
So... I am winning no matter who's playing the game.

Anonymous(18-24)1 moYes, as long as they were going to school or looking for a job. Or at least doing something with their life if they were independently wealthy and didn’t need a job.

Intriguing, what are deal-breakers I wonder for you 🤝🥲 aka "they work - yet have no car" or "they have a car - and somehow manage bank savings enough to run it" - but they have no job? Lol 😂 or similar vices & 50 50 catch 22s
Opinion Owner1 mo@NicholasofAustralia work yet have no car is fine. No job but have enough savings is fine as long as they’re in school or they’re looking for a job or they’re rich enough to not need a job but at least they’re doing something with their life.

Lol 😆 good to know.
What if they're just working class and always will be? 😜🤭 - 1 mo
