Why do you give a flying fuck what some miserable woman who’s jealous of you said. If she’s happy with the life she lives and the man (or men) in her life she wouldn’t be going out of her own way to say things to you.

No it’s not wrong if you’re both happy. People will talk shit no matter what you do. If you date a man with less money people will say stuff. If you date a man with more money you’re a gold digger. Whatever.

Some plans take longer than others and some people didn't have the same head start that others have, and first and foremost, people just need to get by right now and do whatever they need to do to make that happen. Saving money for school, etc is extremely difficult lately with the cost of everything being so high and most jobs not really keeping up with it. A job is a job and if he's making progress too, then that's great because it's not easy right now to do it by yourself.

A plan is not enough. He has to be making real progress toward making that plan work. Lots of people have plans and ideas. Plans don't get you anywhere. Hard work does.

Is his plan a good one? Is he actively working toward it? If the answer is yes, then great. If it's nothing more than talk by someone who is lazy and not doing anything to make it happen, then you can't expect much from him.

I think its fine, especially if he intends to to do more to provide. Some people don't care about financial or career success. I'm not going to pursue someone based on thier financial or career achievements, so I wouldn't want the same.
