He has been stalking my professional page, my Google account and asked one of my friends about my usual whereabouts. Should I play dumb and pretend I don't see any of his work? I have just moved to another city which prompted the stalking.

I also want your guys' opinion, is this behaviour stalkerish, creepy or cute? He is 36.

That is creepy af. I would not like that. I would block him on all my social accounts that I could. Just about any sort of account has ways to block stalkers. Then I would tell my friends to not tell him a thing about where I usually am. If they are any sort of friend to you they don't even need to be told. If it got really bad I would get a restraining order. That is very stalkerish.

You might want to wait before you start screenshotting stuff and dming people. It's obviously an attempt at being romantic. He's taking effort to leave a good impression. Do you want to date a guy who thinks about you enough to ask your friends about your ware abouts and just looking at your professional stuff or do you want a guy who stops thinking about you the moment you're difficult to reach?

Honestly, I'd be more worried if he hadn't asked your friends. At least he's created an avenue for you to find out about his plans. I don't think too many guys are asking the girls friends not assuming they're going to tell you immediately.

How do you know this guy? You and he have at least one friend in common, I guess. Is he a former coworker? Have you ever met him in person?

Are you sure that that's what he's planning to do when he "accidentally" runs into you? Ask you for a date?

If his intentions were honorable, I don't see why he couldn't just message you himself, and ask you whatever he's going to ask you.

Whatever he's doing DOES seem kinda stalkerish. Who is the mutual friend he's been talking to? Would this person be willing to tell him that you're already in a relationship?

The question is not if you should be oblivious or not, the question is if you are interested in him or not. If you are interested then there is nothing wrong with taking the first step, if you aren`t interested in him you can confront him and tell him to stop with that creepy behaviour. Asking about your usual whereabouts sounds more like he wants to kidnap someone instead of asking someone out. There is nothing wrong with being on your page and checking some infos about you, maybe finding out what your interests are and what you like, but that goes too far if you ask me and is kind of creepy.

If he was rich or hot, it'd be cute. If he's not, he's a stalker. We all know it's true. I've witnessed FAR WORSE than that hundreds of times... public insults towards females... and more. If the guy's built, rich or acts like a thug, it's ok, no harm. I know a female who answered a question on Quora about living in Anchorage, as she's from there. I’d tell someone you trust about this guy just in case. It doesn’t sound like an ideal situation. I don’t think playing dumb or acting oblivious will help, don’t seek out confrontation but if he approaches you you can tell him to leave you alone. Do your best to be aware of your surroundings and try to go to places with friends.
