Would a Man offer to help a woman and then invite her out if he doesn't feel anything towards her?

Today a male acquaitance offered to help me choose a bike and said that afterwards we can go cycling together. We know each other around a year and due to his work we meet regularly once a week. He offered his help after he Heard I had some trouble choosing a bike at the beginning of June. He likes cycling and does IT regularly. He added the invitation for a ride together on his own accord. AM I wrong to think that he likes me romantically even a bit?

I got the bike with the help of my acquaitance. He even bought me a small gadget for it that you can keep water in while cycling. The day after the next we went for a bike ride, which was quite exhausting, but lovely at the same time. He came dressed in white, just because I mentioned previously that I liked that colour. Afterwards I texted him to say I had fun and I would really like to go on another ride with him so he suggested a meeting in the next 2 days😊

Guys offer help all the time... and I offer others help all the time... That isn't really an indicator of much more than a person just being nice/kind/compassionate. Depending on the situation, though, if the favor he did for you was exhausting, he might suggest a break (lunch/coffee) just to take a quick break. IF, however, he's helping you move apartments, do a paper, etc. and then asks if you want to go for drinks/dinner... then yes he's trying to impress and date you (or at least to impress and f you).

I didn't understand the bike choosing part. Do you two work in a bike shop? From the rest of your description, though, he's testing the waters to see if you'd like to spend time with him.

No, we don't work in a bike shop. I just wanted to buy a bike in a bike shop and I had some trouble with IT. When I told him about IT at our next meeting he offered help.

Oh I got you. So he’s being friendly with you, which is nice. And depending what he invites you for after, he’s possibly interested. But even if he’s not “interested” in that way, he likes spending time with you. It’s not clear yet if it’s friendly or more. Just take it easy and see how things go.
