Practice makes perfect my friend & if you want to approach girls you are going to have journey outside of your comfort zone. Dress to impress but don’t over do it & wear what you are comfortable wearing & don’t dress you like just rolled out of bed. A fresh haircut is always a good thing. Clean shaven is the way to go & if you don’t want to part ways with your beard or mustache do a little manscaping & groom that shit.

As for you you’re going to have to grow a set, say fuck it & just go introduce yourself. Don’t limit the kind of girls you talk to, talk to everyone regardless.

Literally there's nothing you can do or say to make it easier. There's never a good time. There's nothing clever you can do. All you can do, is if you fancy her, and are getting some open energy or vibes from her, you literally have to walk through the fire and just do it.

It helps you a lot if you're in social settings, around friends who know lots of women, and yeah, just make some comment on the scenario you're in.

Be VERY selective. Better to wait for them to approach you then try indiscriminantly and fail. I say idiscrmininantly because the majority of women you're going to meet in social situations just bait guys. As sure as I'm standing here you're going to victimized by these women. You don't want that. Build your confidence slowly with winnable battles and go from there. Eventually you'll have the confidence to know that no woman is beyond your reach (because they're not). But there will always be those women out there that are just emotional vampires. And you'll get better at spotting the women quicker and shutting them down.

Do not approach one-on-one, go for group settings instead, get familiar this way.

Observe other people's interacting, try to feel the ambiance it gives, how it shifts or not, what dynamics are playing, what roles, then decide what looks okay with you and what not, in how they interact.

Once you're sufficiently familiarized with how groups work, the rest, one-on-one situations will feel much easier to experience.

Start asking the names of the people you see regularly, so that you can greet them by name when you see them. When you are greeting about a dozen women by name, suddenly approaching women won't seem so scary. But cold approaches on the street, in stores, etc. will mostly be unsuccessful. Instead find some activity groups that attract women and get involved. If you do that, don't hit on any of the women for at least three months. By then you will know who is single and who might be receptive.
