I don't mind until it gets weird. Had a woman come up to me on the boardwalk down the shore a few years ago. She started putting this teeny tiny animal clip ons. She seems a little spacey. Then she asked if I heard of somebody, I was too interested in her eyes (she was pretty). It ended up she was a Sciencetologist. LOL my luck I gave her all the little clip ons back and took off

Yes, I often do just 'cuz I can be talkative and outgoing and all that and their story would prolly be like yours , as in, they would tell their friends later about this weird, spacey girl that started talking to them for no good apparent reason.

Yes, why not? If you are on a trip or going somewhere sitting next to them, it would help pass the time. Unless you're tired and want to sleep, I see no reason why you wouldn't have a conversation. It happened to me twice on a flight. On the second one, I was tired and couldn't stop this person from talking. I pretended to sleep but had to wake for flight attendants.

Yeah, do all the time. Impossible to know everyone on a campus of this size.
