Honestly, EVERYTHING is racist and reportable today.
My problem is that I find certain groups to be more attractive. I think it would be Asian, given what DNA reports have said. It is many Asian women and Native American women, with some Hispanic women. Hispanic women seem to have NA DNA and, according to some DNA tests, this is tied to Asians. But, at the same time, reports on these DNA tests appear to suggest they're not that accurate.
Black women aren't unattractive, it's how I was raised. Correction, how WE were raised. The Black girls I grew up with are the same. We couldn't cross that line, legally, so we changed our feelings and it feels "wrong" to think of each other sexually. And, the pain of it is, often what attracts us to each other is because we are so alike. They lament that most, if not all, Black men are players and into drugs. For me, most of the white women I see WANT players, drug users, and Black men, due to the sexual image they have. And, before you complain, Black women dislike white women for stealing their men and being... improper? It's hard to explain their views without being offensive. That's why I don't understand racism. Here, the only real difference between white and Black was color.
So, saying I'm not interested in a Black woman, while wrong, is just easier than trying to explain the stupidity of our government separating us and causing problems. Even today, you rarely see a white man with a Black woman, but you will see dozens of Black men with white women. Several men have commented that it feels wrong, due to slavery, but a Black man is liberated by being with white women. Double standard?
On top of this, it may save you heartache.
Several women I know, who were with Black men, find that their white partner has a problem with her past. Most seem to think she's tainted, but a few have problems with competing. I get this. One of the stereotypes Black men have is that of sexual animals. They're the perfect sex machine. Well endowed, very active, will do anything, and fertile beyond belief. Whites, on the other hand, don't measure up as well. So, following a Black lover may make them feel insecure. They just need to realize that white men are all different as are Black men.
But, expect to get hate mail or something. I also heard, and I stress that, where one woman claimed she was gang raped by several Black men because she posted she didn't like Black men. According to her, she went to meet her date, who she thought was a white man, and it turned out to be a trick. Since I never heard a follow up on this, I don't consider it true. Kind of like the porn video where a white girl goes for a casting audition, in a hotel room. She is blind folding and has sex with, she thinks, a white man. Once it's over, she removes the blindfold and sees he's a Black man. She freaks out as they're, the actor and the guys filming, laugh at her. There's just too much "wrong" with this to make me think it is real.
Honestly, to me, you have the right. Just like all those I have seen saying that they only want Black men. Discrimination goes both ways. It's also YOUR body. But, then, my views are rarely in line with the mobs.

m 2 moThere are no different races to find anyway.
It's an outdated term.
Instead there are different skin tones, different ethnicities, different cultures.
What is reportable is stated in the terms of use, guidelines and FAQs of that dating app in question.
What is racist is stated by your local laws.
That may be a lot of reading though.

Anonymous(18-24)2 moAll this fuss, and as we have seen, the Southern Poverty Law Center comprises the most racist people there are, all while scolding us for being racist, when we're just going about our business and trying to get through life.
The Charlottesville incident did not involve white supremacy as was so relentlessly shoved in our face, it was intentionally set up by a racist organization to give the appearance of white supremacy, to advance their degenerate political purposes. And they paid money to do that, millions of dollars, and someone died as a result, with no accountability. So none of it matters.
In dating and in friendships even, you're allowed to choose who you are with based on any factors you want, and not have to answer for it to anyone. The opposite would be just as ridiculous: you must date a black woman! You must date a white man! How is that not just as racist as choosing who you want? I wouldn't go around advertising it on your profile, because that will just bring the world down on you, but do be selective based on any criteria that's important to you. Looks, height, personality, wealth, whatever it is that matters to you. People who don't like it also have the right not to associate with you.

2 moIt's usually not your preference that offends anybody but the way you express that preference that might offend people.
Like you could say, "I do not date (race). Don't waste my time if you belong to that group."
Or you could say,
"I tend to avoid dating groups that are introverted, and dominated by older family members, because I want somebody adventurous who is outgoing, expressive and open to new experiences the way I am."
Or
"I don't have a problem with dating black people, but I only date black people who listen to Beethoven and Mozart.."
Mainly because I love and appreciate violin culture, and want somebody who loves it just as much as I do."

Asker2 moI just read up about the algorithm that’s why I asked
Apps like Tinder are known to rank profiles based on desirability (based on swipe patterns).
* People who get a lot of likes → shown to other high-engagement users
* People with lower engagement → shown less or to similar-tier users
If bias affects who swipes right on you, it can indirectly affect your “tier.”- 2 mo
What’s putting your racial preference in your bio have to do with getting more likes? Also if I were you I wouldn’t concern myself with being a top tiered dating app user. For one, 15% of them are bots. Two, I’d imagine being high ranked is a thing for longer termed users who have had an active profile (whether they remember that or not) for a long time. Three, the recommended or advertised accounts aren’t even always local.
Asker2 moI meant I read up if having a preference and people who aren’t your preference keep liking you on the app it messes up your algorithm to see your preferences
2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. It isn't racist at all. It doesn't matter if it is because their looks, culture, the majority of them having certain morals or lack of morals, etc. Whatever the reasons, it is fine to have preferences.
For me, I won't date, be friends with, or allow in my house: Black people, Democrats, Muslims, trans/homos, drug users, etc.

Anonymous(45 Plus)2 moNope. Online dating is a meat market. Anyone who has done it for any length of time has encountered this multiple times. But I will warn you that you MIGHT still get some guys who try to get you to change your mind. Or WORSE, chastise you for it. I never understood why some people do this, but they do. So just a heads up.

Asker2 moThanks
Anonymous(18-24)2 moI don’t think so, as long as the app gives you like a box to check for that. I personally think it’s ok if you’re primarily attracted to people of a certain race, but I’m not sure if other people would think that was racist. But if they give you a place to put your racial preference, then obviously they don’t think it’s racist.

2 moI wouldn't think so. I mean everyone has their own preferences, Would a guy wanting a girl with big boobs be considered racist? How about a Lebanese guy not wanting a Jew?

2 moAbsolutely not. It’s not racist to prefer your own race or a specific race to others for dating. That’s a sexual preference.
10 ReplyOnly if it's "white" then all hell will break loose. Everything else is perfectly ok

2 moI don't think it would be. I prefer Asian women... there... if I get blocked for that then you know they do.

Anonymous(45 Plus)2 moNo. It’s a preference. Now on the other hand if you didn’t date a certain race plus you also avoided them or said things about them I would say ok you’re probably racist. But not wanting to date a certain race doesn’t mean you’re racist.
00 Reply18.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. It is certainly borderline racism.
