Why are people so obsessed with height differences in dating?

People are always asking if certain height difference matters. Either the woman being taller or the woman being much shorter as if there is some law against dating different heights.

Also dudes into women talker noticing a lot of that. It’s weird if you make it weird. Same for the ladies. People are into way weirder stuff then dating a woman taller then you. It’s nothing to be ashamed of unless you fetishize it to the point you make someone uncomfortable.

I actually find it unattractive when a man is very tall. Slightly above average height is my preference. I think I feel this way because it’s true people with larger bodies have the ability to carry more muscle and I would feel safer around a man who is stronger. I’m assuming a lot of other women feel the same way as me.

Personally I have no height preference. I'll take a guy at any height.

Not sure why height is such a big deal for people these days.

No idea. I like who I like. I dated a guy an inch shorter than me once and I've dated a guy 8 inches taller. Seems like it's just some paranoia about random people in commenting publicly about it and making them insecure 🤷🏼‍♀️

because a lot of people are having trouble dating to the point their insecurities kick in and they start to wonder what's wrong with them... height, boobs, weight, etc.

hight differences don't matter. it's just that women prefer tall men, no matter the hight difference. it's like mens preference for big tits. it just is what it is. it's purely biological. not that deep.

Insecurity. My sister is 5'10" (or so she says, i think she's probably taller.😂) and she squirms when a shorter guy asks her to dance. Personally i could give less than a damn about a woman's height.

It really seems to be. I don’t ever understand why people concern themselves not only with others relationships but make a big deal about it too. Or just plaster what they want all over.

Everyone has their things they like and dislike. Not saying that’s wrong. But when people make it weird it becomes weird.

I’ve noticed with many men and women here. Things are weird if you make it weird. If it’s all you obsess over it can become a problem.

I get at first it may take some adjusting to get used to something new. Such as a major height difference but if the relationship has other things going for it and they’re happy. That’s what matters
