I think slum dog millionaire is a great movie to watch on date but I know it is no longer playing in theatres. Right now, I would recommend something science fiction because it is really easy to crack jokes about that type of movie.

I'm going to avoid answering that by ranting about my feelings about first dates at the movies. I find them pointless. You can't interact and talk during the movie so you're not really getting much out of it unless it's someone you already know pretty well and you don't need the "get to know you" aspect of the date.

I don't go to the cinema on a first date. It's a waste of time and defeats the point of the date. Just 2 wasted hours.
