I think I already know the answer to this but I’m tired of dating apps and matching with hot mama’s that go nowhere.
At least the quality of the matches, while not as frequent as I would like, is a bit of a confidence boost, if nothing else.

My experience is that dating apps are a wasteland of damaged women carrying around baggage from 10-20 years of bad decision making and swiping right for validation and/or Prince Charming. And to be fair, these women are probably running into a wasteland of male losers and players using dating apps like a low rent whore house.
Get out of that environment and go meet women face to face where you can see them interact with other people, how they dress and groom themselves, how they carry on a conversation, their quirks, their sense (or lack of) humor, their IQ, their friend group, etc.
It’s normal to have burnt out from dating in general or dating apps. It’s okay to take some time off for yourself :) just remember dating is supposed to be fun and not our whole main focus to balance with our life and hobbies.
I saw one of my fave singers made a comment the other day that there’s truly no difference about dating apps vs real life dating except it’s easier to meet people and more options on the app. I was like oh that’s actually a good new insight… he’s right. people will say a lot of negative things about dating apps but tbh that’s just their bad experiences and biases lol. We all have our own experiences. I know plenty of people who met their now husband and wife from there. I just think it’s good to be open to all options rather it’s an app or in person bc you never know when you’ll meet your person :) goodluck!
Different game for men and women, you don't have to try and the men come running. Very frustrating for most men.
Most men I'd say Boba... Most men struggle I'd say.
I feel like dating apps are one of those things where you give it a shot and if it doesn’t work out then you should hang it up. Maybe try again at a later point in time. I think that timing is everything, and right now may not be yours despite your efforts.
After not being on dating apps for a very long time, I gave it a try a few days ago... it's a big hell no for me.
1) Because of the age I put in, women under the age of 38 don't even exist.
2) Only overweight women exist
3) The rest look like they're strung out on drugs or give me the impression that they're about to be.
Yeah fuck that... maybe later if I get bored I'll lie and say I'm 18-24 just so I can at least see women that are not destroyed yet, but until then, I'll stick to what I get IRL or face to face.
So I don't blame you for giving up on those apps... I've seen what a dumpster fire they are with my own eyes.
I would advise you to remove StupidHero from you followers. He is frozen and will receive the dildo soon. Best not to associate with him.
@Helpful_Assistant Rodger that.
@Helpful_Assistant Wow, I tried to "just remove" and it said my account was frozen (that banner that flashes). When I hit "remove and block,"it finally let me remove him.

At least you're getting matches lmao. My matches are non-existent. Dating apps are fucking terrible. They used to be pretty good when Plenty of Fish just started to be a thing maybe like 15 years ago. Now they're all run by greedy business owners who don't try to match people, but just keep people on their app.
You should definitely quit. They are a waste of time, and are made to benefit women more than men. Not to mention a lot of the women on there do not even write any profile details, they just put up pics and wait for a guy to start messaging them. Or they're just on there trying it out or low-key looking for a hookup while pretending to care about a relationship, I've seen that before.
Definitely delete your profile, guy.
If you're burned out, take a break.
Dating apps can work. I know several married couple who met on dating sites/apps. I met my wife on one, we've been married for 9 years and counting.
Give it a week or so, maybe longer if you want, then try again.
For a dating app to work best, be honest about yourself in your profile, and about who/what you are looking for. It will make for better matches.
If you’re feeling burned out you won’t find anyone you like. Take a sabbatical and come back to it.
Sometimes you can date a girl you see online around. Haha a little weird indeed.. I dated a girl from Whisper app.
Whisper is haven of the lost.. at least when in that state. It was so nice knowing her. Not with her anymore.
Simple texting but clearly speaking out mind with slow and gentle flirting was so lovely and warm indeed.
I mean maybe you can broaden that to other social media too.. I still don't think so but well. I just mean, you can date from anywhere other than dating apps.
Simply finding someone around in a calm manner as a person first is what we need. Dating won't provide that calm setting I guess. I got no real alternative, but I mean push forward gently (with dating as a goal in mind) wherever else in your life. And I say, you will get there.
She was the one who asked for my social media quite suddenly. When we almost exchanged a message once every two weeks or few texts a month.
So there's always great chances when you play it right.
Haha I feel this is funny to go through, it is what I got though 😄
Most of those "hot mamas" as you call them are either scammers who want you to send them cash or guys on women's profiles who are so desperate for attention that even pretending to be a woman is preferable over nothing.
As for whether or not you should quit is strictly up to you. I was lucky enough to find my boyfriend on one even though i wasn't really looking for one (I was on the app to find local people to be friends with and if something developed from there then ok). It's not impossible, just hard. I'd also say lower your standards a bit because you are aiming for the stars and missing the good ones right beside you on earth.
U know, I've always felt that women that sign up for these apps, have to put on a certain image. I don't know maybe to feel accepted from the people in the app. Then in real life, they turn around and are living that same lie. They're manifesting there app life into the real 1. I've been on a lot of those cites, and never found any thing good from any of em. Just when u think the conversation seems like it's got possibilities to be good, they start talking about their sick family members, asking you for money for their medication... bla bla bla...
Talking to someone in real life, face to face, science is shared between u two. U might get a little shy, u both start giggling over stupid shit... I mean I know u hear of the perfect couple finding each other on tinder or what ever... but I think they are paid.
I've been an online dater for almost 10 years, trust me, you will get way better people in real life. I can positivity say with confidence after so many years experience is that its usually only the socially awkward, introverted, weird people who struggle to get dates in real life that use those apps. Either that or users/ perverts, manipulators, liars, cheaters.
Over the past 10 years, I have only came across less than a handful of people that are considered to be "high quality".
Those apps aren't better for women... the people can be so low quality that you would be glad you haven't matched with any of them.
It’s honestly incredible, like I’ve matched with some very attractive women, not all the time but occasionally it’s like wow, and “I’m sure this one maybe has it all together” because why wouldn’t she? But nope. It honestly seems like women have this life on easy mode and they still find a way to mess it up.
attractive people don't need dating apps, they attract people everywhere they go. so if you see an attractive person who is a on dating app, it shows there are bigger issues that need to be addressed. you seem very young and inexperienced and have a long way to go.
🤨🤨🤨
I wouldn't quit dating.
I'd quit treating matches as progress.
A lot of dating app burnout comes from investing emotionally before someone has earned that investment.
Getting matches feels good.
Getting attention feels good.
But neither tells you whether someone is actually compatible, available, or serious.
🚩 Red Flag Analysis
Risk Level: Medium
Signals detected:
• Emotional fatigue
• Repeated disappointment
• Overvaluing matches
• Dating app burnout
Reality Check:
A match is not a connection.
A conversation is not a relationship.
And attraction is not compatibility.
Maybe don't quit dating.
Just become more selective about who gets your time and energy.
If dating apps are making you feel drained, it’s usually a sign to take a break, not force it.
Apps work best when you’re using them casually and with energy. When it turns into swiping out of boredom or frustration, it starts feeling worse and rarely leads to good connections.
You don’t have to fully quit forever. Even a short reset (a few weeks or months) can help you come back with a clearer mindset, or realize you don’t miss it at all.
In the meantime, meeting people through real life (friends, hobbies, events) often feels more natural and less exhausting.
If I had the ability to go back in time I would tell you to never start in the first place.
till then just take a break. Dating apps are built to keep people browsing, not necessarily to help people build anything serious. If it’s draining you more than it’s helping you, step away and put your energy into meeting women offline.
I know is not an easier option but at least the results are better in the long run
Stop dating apps. Go to the yacht club, they usually have " singles " events on the weekends. You will get a better selection of men than dating apps. It's summer, so go to patio music festivals, you will meet people there too, it's summer, go have fun 😎♥️
In life I always say if you never try you will never know. As for dating apps it’s like a game of golf sometimes you just can’t putt. As for that game of golf sometimes get a hole in one & sometimes you land in a sand trap. As for online dating it’s like the HOW DO I LOOK section on here it’s a freak show & if you are into that shit keep doing it & if you aren’t go back to offline dating.
If you want to meet people you have to get out & greet people.
Good Luck!
Recently I read somewhere, for some guy it took nearly 2-3 years to get an actual date and sometimes that too a fake one.
I will suggest just being on there but don't have any hope with it.
It's not at all made for average or below average men.
I personally never got any swipes so I quit.
I just go out to charities or events to meet new people. That's it. And that too doesn't work for me.
Go to coffee shop, sit in front of someone who is alone try to have conversation.
Or just a simple complaint make someone smile😊.
One day someone do the same for you.
And I would say give up on dating, finding love or anything if you can. It will automatically happen if it has to. Or never so it's much better to give up and start living alone. I am 27 wasted all my 20s with finding love and job, I got jobs got tons of money but not a single date.
If it’s any inspiration for ya. I almost gave up. I’d send maybe a message or two a week for months. Just a couple days before Thanksgiving I messaged someone way cute and super smart. 6 years later we’re married and have a house.
Love hits you when you least expect it so stop expecting it.
lol. I gave up on dating apps ages ago. They are nothing but cons anyway. Half the profiles are hookers and cam girls, instead of women wanting a relationship, so there's' no point wasting your time with that.
I accidentally matched with a stripper recently 🚩she was a hot Rican mami at least
Once you establish that the " hot mamma's " are actually real ( via videa call pretty much straight up ) then just boont them all until you find something better..
Use it for what it is..
Have you thought about actually venturing out into the real world for a change? Use your brain!
I believe dating apps is a grinding space, and I'm not really into that, I played too many RPGs already lol. But the question is about you, about how much you trust the answer you found?
Take a break or change things up. Dating apps get very repetitive very quickly, if you don't enjoy the process you will get bored very quickly.
I would get off dating apps and just meet people organically. Dating apps people just go off looks and swipe. It's very surface level/superficial. If anything go to a local speed dating event
I'd say no. Just get out and try and meet some real people. People on dating apps are never really honest about everything.
Why not try meeting people in person? That tends to work better, even if it’s more challenging.
Never give up, just don’t expect miracles. Be honest when describing yourself and be honest if and when you are communicating with anyone.
Yes, it can be a waste of time. Try meeting people at social events or locally
Waste of time. Only some scrap there anyway, just std farmers
If you are burnt out you are burnt out and at least need to take a break.
Keep going on the dating apps but make it a supplement so to speak. Make real life interaction with women more important.
I mean quitting is a good option but you might as well just minimize your time investment to 5 minutes a week.
One thing i have noticed is you have to delete & remake your profile at least once a month, to keep the algorithm from hiding you from potential matches.
Try to quit if you have a better alternative. The thing about stopping with a dating app is that it feels like giving up, and it's really hard for most guys to do it.
I imagine it is similar to looking for a job. You ever know if the next one is the one.
No casino every succeeded by making their clientele rich.
Quit dating apps? Absofuckinglutely. Give up entirely? Nah.
I had 0% success on apps. In person it is significantly better
Take a break, go for a walk, go to gym, love yourself, and you'll find it easier to find people.
Stay at it. Dating Apps should just be one lead source when trying to attract women.
Try Christian mingles if it’s still available
I did them for a year, got nowhere and quit the game for good
Take a break and then get back into it after you been off it for awhile.
Quit. It won't get any better.
starbucks near a university is ftw
Mmm yesss 🤔
👀👀
good luck bro
Keep trying, hinge is a great app in my opinion
I quit dating completely. Not worth it anymore.
Quit.
