The conscious mind's role is to justify the unconscious mind's decisions that were made within seconds of first meeting you. That applies to both genders.

So I think it is debatable it is possible that you can build connection if that unconscious mind decision wasn't there to start with.

There seems to be some evidence that woman get bored when a man becomes highly predictable to them and they continuously test his strength with emotional guerrilla warfare.

So you might be better focusing on the latter aspect. It would seem a lot of work though so you need to question if it is worth it.

I think chemistry actually plays the biggest part here... if you and her feel totally at ease, but with that delicious tension that makes you want to be together all the time... the connection is already there. If you both just drop the acts and let it happen, that's it!

I think people come to develop a strong connection with another being, most of the time is simply by being a decent human to each other. I think you might need to listen to them better, be present, get to know them. People tend to project a lot, and people tend to presume a lot, be more present try to figure that person in and out by asking better questions. People change, they adapt, they are not bots. Get to know each other and find some compatibility with each other.

Just get in there... be brave and try to spend time with her. A little at a time is possibly best till you're comfortable with each other. (That's usually where people fuck up... They spend TOO MUCH time together in the beginning till something becomes an "ick" and then they ghost/flake.)
