Do you opinions change on ex’s?

Let’s say your ex was immature and stingy but now you hear they are doing well. Do you hold on to those same opinions or do you keep the same ones.

Truthfully, I don't give much thought as to how they're doing. They were all good people, but we're not in each other's lives anymore so I don't really care to know how they're doing. I guess I'd prefer to know that they're doing well, but that's all.

An immature part of me wants to become hyper successful and show them who they lost, but I know that's just me being petty.

I do genuinely wish them happiness from the bottom of my heart.

No that's how he treated me. I dont care if they changed afterwards. That's great, but it also means they had the ability to do better and decided not to until I was gone. This hits because I spent so much time trying to take pictures and capture moments. Now that he's single he bought a pro camera and he's trying to go professional with it. He asked me several times to let him take pictures of me. The one time I decided to let him do it, he doesn't. That's when I came to the conclusion that he doesn't want to take pictures of me in public, but in his house where things can get sexual. The whole day we were outside and I took selfies and a stranger offered to take pictures of me. He's fine with taking other people's pictures at events and it's irritating that he only does this to me.

I keep what I already know about them, that’s the image that stays in my mind. But I do know that people and their circumstances can change. Either way I don’t know them anymore, I know the old them so that’s all I have to go by.

Not really. I can respect that they're willing to change and good for them but I know what they are capable of and am never letting them back into my personal life.
