I would have to say it could be because maybe you were lonely

Maybe because you drink too much

Maybe because he couldn't take you to his house because his wife was in his bed

Maybe he lives with his parents

Maybe he was designated driver

Maybe use the taxi cab or the Uber driver

Maybe you forgot his name that's why I was random stranger

Maybe it's because you don't know when to stop drinking

And if you don't understand that one of these days all the above is really going to fuck you up hard someday that's the bigger question

Maybe it's because your brain says I can stop anytime I want

And I'm sure you can but you have to remember one thing you also have a body and that's the one that gets you in trouble because your body craves it and your body doesn't know when to stop and the body will keep drinking until it puts the Mind asleep and then that's when you don't remember anything and that's what's going to get you in trouble one day

Maybe the question should be

do I like myself

And maybe your answer would have to be I must not if I drink every night to change who I am

I'm going to say you have a long road ahead of you figure it out and you need to make a choice either your brain's going to be in charge or your body is going to be and as of right now is in charge of everything
