Is it hard being a man?

What do women want? A guy really handsome, tall, fit/muscly, makes a lot of money, big package, funny, confident. It’s just too competitive. These are the metrics we as men are judged on. You can’t get a 10 on all of them. There’s too many men that excel better in other areas than you. Women want men perfect and even if they settle they are just thinking about the men with more.

It’s pathetic what we have to live up to. What do men ask if women? That she’s just pretty and nice. The bar is low for women.

Being a man is extremely difficult, and dealing with women is even more difficult. The responsibilities of the world and our own lives follow us every day. We work and work, and then we work some more, and if we're very lucky, we get a day here and there for ourselves. We work to support ourselves, but we also work to support women, children, and the world. The world could not survive a day without our input and presence. We die and are maimed in wars that are fought mainly for resources but also to protect women and children. We are massively underappreciated for our contributions to life, and women complain constantly that they are not getting enough of all the unreasonable, impossible things that they want. Mostly, we put up with that with stoicism and silence. Don't. mistake that reaction for indifference because it isn't. It is just tolerance because we have all learned that anything more than that is going to make women even worse than they already are because it will then give them an additional new thing to complain about. If we could live without women, we would, but we can't, so we don't. This has a lot to do with why we die younger than women do.

So, to answer your question... yeah, it's hard being a man.

Im married so I dont worry about it and I did ok when I was single.

I feel bad for young men coming up now. When you look at average young women from the the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s they are all thin and attractive and obesity wasn't a thing but they went for average guys. But now you look at women in 2026, half them are obese won't accept an average guy. You see all these above average guys having to settle for an obese woman that would have been considered undatable in the past. Obese, laden with thousands in debt, can't cook, won't clean and greedy for their man's money. Few if any are willing to invest in an upcoming young man. He has to have the job, house, be over 6ft, we'll educated etc.

Me over here with my 5'9 and 5'5 boyfriend's who are just scraping by and have perfectly normal packages...  Yeah they're, handsome, confident and funny but that's not a lot to ask for.

Dude you are overthinking it. No, it's not hard being a man. I'd much rather be a man than a woman. Think of women kind of as fully grown children. They lack full logic. And they overly emotional. So everything gets filtered through their emotions. The problems is she'an "adult". So you can't tell her anything. She has to figure it out for herself. No matter how many times she has to f*** up to learn. All you can do is sit, laugh, and wait. And then you have to decide whether she's too stupid to waste your time on when she finally wises up when and sees what you have to offer. Because i promise you the problems are not over. They're just beginning. Now she gets to jude YOU by every mistake she ever made when it comes to her past relationships, by comparing YOU to them. To be a man and dealing with a man means having near endless patience. Again, remem ber you're dealing with a fully grown child in an adults body. Always remember that.
