Obviously there are advantages and disadvantages.
I'm sure you can name a dozen advantages: things that you see that men are good at or come easily to men (or at least, appear to), but you probably don't see many of the disadvantages because you never have to deal with them.
It might be instructive to read Norah Vincent's book called Self-Made Man.
Norah was a woman who decided to dress and live as a man, ostensibly to prove that men have it easier than women.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ip7kP_dd6LUThere are plenty of articles about her and her book online that you can find and read for yourself, so you can hear it in her own words, but you can get a bit of that from this video.
Ultimately, Norah was so disturbed by her experiences - at her revelations of what men actually face in the world, and how they are treated - that she was in and out of mental health facilities several times and ultimately took her own life in 2022 via assisted suicide. I'm not sure anything I told you would be as impactful to you as hearing it from another woman who actually had first-hand experience.
I could talk a lot more about this subject - and if you want more, I'm happy to do so - but Norah's story is a good start, and I'll let her speak for herself.
yes, and no...
it depends... it's never been easy to be a person, regardless of gender
and then it is all about perspective, if you focus on men not having to go through the difficulties that women experience or deal with, then yes... it might seem like men have it easier on THAT regard
but if you focus on some of the things that men have to deal with and go through and women might not then, it is just going to feel like men can have it harder and very probably, one of the most difficult things for men is to be told
"just man up" and then people might leave you to deal with alone or make you figure it out by yourself
Being a man is a complex and multifaceted experience that can be both easy and difficult depending on the context. There are many different opinions on what it means to be a man, and the answer to this question is subjective. Some people believe that being a man is about being strong, independent, and self-reliant, while others believe that it is about being compassionate, empathetic, and communicative.
Although it is normally assumed that being a man is easier in this world than it is to be woman, this is not actually true. Both women and men have their own set of struggles, and it is not correct to compare the two.
As a kid through my late 20’s? Nope. Never could do anything right, never taken seriously. Best case scenario you’re basically invisible. Since I turned 30, things have changed. Even just the last year. There is more general respect. People listen to what you have to say, especially other men. They don’t default to thinking you’re a moron. You get a little more appreciation. I’ve had more random women making eye contact with me on the street as well. But I don’t know what’s changed.
It's not.. Men and women have different struggles that it's good we acknowledge both and address both accordingly.. But no it's especially easy being a man.. Especially since we are valued more for what we can bring than who we are..
it's really tough for dating, for me and a lot of men I know at least, but everyone's got their problems :)
It depends if she wants to be in control I will let her and step aside. I have no objections of letting a woman control what she wants to control or I do not even want to be in control and not be around.
Make good choices, point yourself in the right direction and constantly improve yourself and life becomes much easier.
It's not easy to be human. Deep down, though, in today's world, it's generally slightly easier being a man than being a woman.
"It's not easy being green."

Being a man is so bad that plenty of them turn into transgirls or commit suicide 4x more often than women do.
Yes, but I've had a lot of practice over 51 years...
It's not easy to be a man, but I am definitely glad I was born a man.
It's not easy being any gender, as long as you're human your life will have challenge. When it gets to much for people they kill themselves
Firstly I will say no. And secondly I want to say that I don't think it is easy to be human.
It's never going to be easy but you always have the option of making it harder for yourself.
Men have the weight of the world on their shoulder. Just think about that for a second.
no not at all. Life will always be a pain till the very end
It depends on how a guy looks and his personality, I think.
Not really, always have to work, lots of responsibilities and stress
Do the right thing even if no one is watching. That is easy.
I think it’s rather easy being a man, especially when you have a big dick.
No I think men have it harder then women.
Not as hard as women.
It depends on the context.
In most cases, I would not agree.
It’s not easy being.
I believe so.
Not in my experience
Nope
