Simple question...
What do you think?
To address your question, pretty privilege is a real thing, whether you're a woman or a man. Being physically attractive will always give you more opportunities in life, have more people being receptive to you, including in the dating world, and you do tend to live an easier life. But being unattractive doesn't mean you're hopeless in life. And there are plenty of physically unattractive people who have found love, are successful in their careers, etc. It's just harder for them to get to that point.
However, addressing another topic... I don't care what anyone says. I don't care how PC you wanna be about it. Men live harder lives. We have more expectations and pressures from society. It's much lonelier to be a man. There's a male loneliness epidemic. Feminism has made some things better in society, but overall it hasn't created equality. It's created female superiority. And the thing is they keep pushing for more and I don't get it.
I will keep fighting for men to be heard and seen. It's only unempathetic feminazis that choose to ignore them.
Sarcasm is harder to detect from text and images online unless it's painfully apparent. I don't think this post delivered that. Sure, you used a funny image, but a lot of people use memes to address serious topics?
laugh it out... lol
@NathanDavis Someone who gets this post, thank you!
This has been my observation of people (men and women) who aren't very attractive.
This might come as a surprise to you but these people usually stay home studying more than the good looking people who are out partying and meeting someone.
They were home studying through all of their school years and went to college. That's where they met other unattractive people who they would end up married and had children, a little happy family.
They got the great paying jobs, bought a house and 2 cars, oh, and the Webber grill in their backyard.
They are much happier than good looking people who have more trouble meeting someone and staying married. They have more life problems. Not all of them but a lot of them.
So, being an unattractive man isn't as hard as you may believe.
That's because guys are already the ugly genders by default. So people try to look for another value men can provide which is not even easy.
@Aiko_E_Lara
Maybe the guys that you have been with are ugly but my husband is a very handsome, good looking guy!
I don't even know how you came to the conclusion that all men are ugly.
You sound like one of those feminatizi men haters! Geez! 🙄
I'm a guy and I completely agree with Aiko. Women look FAR better than men. I don't understand how this can even be a debate. Women are full of smoothness and curviness. Things considered beautiful. Men are full of roughness, muscles, and not smoothness. Even genitalia... Almost all men and a good chunk of women can find female genitalia appealing, but male genitalia? Sure, some find it appealing, but it doesn't even compare.
Nah, looks pretty easy to me. Perhaps guys just need to man up a little and stop worrying their nose is too big.

Being a man means rarely getting sympathy, always being expected to accommodate others while rarely having anyone do something to accommodate, automatically being blamed when something goes wrong in a relationship, having the children get more attached to mom because we must work more to support the family, and having our feelings ignored because they aren't very important.
No. Unless you’re pretty and then somehow hideously disfigured, you don’t know anything but being ugly. You can’t really understand how it affects you because you have little frame of reference.
The hard part about being a man is all the hypocrisy and double standards. The best parents in the world can’t prepare you for everything. So unless you lock yourself away and never interact with other people for your whole life, everything you say and do will be held against you at one time or another.
“No good deed goes unpunished” is the man’s mantra. Remember that and you probably won’t sink so low as to ideate self deletion. Another good one is “You can please all of them some of the time. You can please some of them all of the time. But you will never please all of them all of the time.” That one is a little skewed, but it’s helpful for picking your battles.
No
I dont think that is simple at all... dude is saying women can hide who they are behind physical things, where as, dudes can not...
Guess what its the same for everyone... our minds are our biggest enemies when we men, can't control our mind the way women can control theirs with the way they look, we become ugly also...
Makeup and wigs only work because dudes dont realize whats underneath. thats shallow as can be. Then we get upset cause we are ugly... lol its kind of funny to me, I feel like we are ugly on the outside because we are ugly on the inside. That meme says this to anyone that can think bigger picture thoughts.
Being a man is hard. Being a women is also hard. Being a human being in general is hard. Thats how the world works and it makes us better. Thats the purpose i see
It's hard in a way that if you want to attract someone YOU need to have something. No woman is gonna come and approach you unless you're 6 feet and a half plus another half down below and have some swagger or are famous. THEN maybe.
For the majority though forget it if you don't have something special and can't entertain an adult child then you're cooked
1, No and 2, wrong, Bald DO wear toopay toupe , and ever since bald actors, were stars, bruce willis etc. bald isn't ugly anymore!
Make up is for pale, for thin eyelashes or brow to seem dark, not for ugly! For pale cheeks to seem pink, blush and rouge and lipstick! Not for ugly. And those are fake. An ugly guy with big eyelashes is still ugly!! But no, that is not the reason. The reason is because of society expectations and hopelessness which is my mytake for today, (ready in an hour)
It seems like that at first. But when you realize those b****es only like attractive men because he is attractive and (in her mind) gives HER legitimacy. You realize she doesn't really give a 💩 about him either. It is then that you realize being ugly is a blessing not a curse. Would you rather live in a world where you are followed by 1 million yes men (or in this case women) and hanger-ons. Or 1 ride-or-die person. The million do not care about you. Only about the value they feel add to their life. Worship and envy is not love.
I'd rather be ugly.
Being a man is hard for the same reason, being a woman is hard, everyone is carrying something the world doesn’t see.
Men are expected to be strong, calm, stable, and unfazed.
Women are expected to be soft, perfect, understanding, and endlessly patient.
Different pressures, same weight.
At the end of the day, it’s not a gender issue.
It’s a human issue.
You’re right that the weight isn’t identical, every experience has its own depth depending on who’s living it.
My point was more about the fact that everyone carries a version of pressure they didn’t choose.
The shapes are different, but the feeling of being stretched thin is universal.
And acknowledging both sides doesn’t take anything away from either.
I mean in all honestly men in general and what we do are just kind of taken for granted and we're just sorta used and abused by society there's no real support or respect for men in general.
But also societies contradictory view on how men should act and feel leads to some issues like some guys not being able to properly process or express emotions for example.
There are plenty of ugly men who have gotten many pretty women.
They were probably rich though
First I translated what you wrote without using translation. Oh yes, I am getting better at language skills. Now I am answering. No, I think being a man is not difficult. No one is ugly, they are just unkempt. Even if men don't wear makeup, they can comb their hair and groom their beards. This is enough for them. Exercise and nutrition are among the things that make them look good.
Men are naturally pretty so you guys dont need makeup like women do
Nah, that is utter nonsense.
Thei is what separates the men from the boys.
LOL
Maybe a Kardashian male is hard. lol
Robbie Kardashian does rather well, though doesn't he get sorta fat at times?
It is hard to be a man because society doesn't seem to respect men anymore.
Men can wear makeup and wigs. There are literally companies for both designed for men.
sage2021 for blocking me, I'll just see it here. I'm not saying that there are no handsome guys but the reality is guys are usually seen as the dispensable one even throughout history. Yes there are guys that are handsome but a lot of the times that's not enough to convince the society he is valuable. And this argument is exactly for feminist who think guys have it all easy.
@AviatorTom some men can rock the bald/balding look 👀
Guys have beards! Guys can wear a little concealer, sure they may not want lashes, eye liner, eye shadow, lip stick etc if they want to be all macho, but they have makeup options, and since when are wigs a gendered thing?
No being a man is easier why trade if you have to have a period and give birth to babies. Are you all crazy?
Really? A period is a once a month thing, and only happens for a limited time in a woman's life (puberty to menopause). We guys are ugly forever. 😐
Men look worse with makeup on you all look like cross dressers.
That's exactly the point We guys can't do anything to make us look better. 🙈🙉🙊
You can still get pussy so I wouldn’t worry about it.
I mean you should take a look at why men's suicide rate is 4 times higher than women's. That has everything to do with being the bigger and uglier gender, the cause of the big sympathy gap, subconscious view society have on men and so on. You saying that we can still get pussy and not worry about it, as if you're willing to submit yourself that easy.
Yeah this is part of it along with the fact that you have to pay for everything for women. That sucks.
In my experience, that's only a problem if I'm dating a woman who places a premium on a guy's style of clothing. Otherwise, if you're good looking enough, it usually doesn't matter much.
This made me laugh. The only a guy can do when he's ugly is grow a beard
No, because men can have a life without being beautiful.
If that was the only reason, I would love being a man. It's more about being the state and feminists' punching bag.
Racial oppression makes being a black man A THOUSAND TIMES HARDER !!!
It is hard but also why we are better because we have to deal with it instead of painting over our deficits as women do.
Being a human being is hard…. For multiple reasons.
No it’s cus u get chained up all the time or smth
I'm not "all that" and I get dates basically whenever I want. Maybe it's the defeatist attitude that so many guys have?
Let’s face it, being a human is hard.
Fair enough
Never expected this yo be a manly issue, take it from the other side, Man Up Guys
So true though
Nope.. Furthest thing from it
It's hard to be a man, but as a man, I'm made for the difficulty.
Man shit.
We can't even get muscle implants without being laughed at
Nah, if he has money he is handsome period
They say a beard is a man’s makeup
Who says that?
This phrase has been going around for many years
Because life sucks.
And we have ugly genitals
Feminist beliefs and views.
This question is so underrated 🤣😭
