Personally I haven't. Though I suspect it is more common than people think. I suppose someone could fall into the conventially attractive group for most people and then also be lacking in the personality department to the point they put off potential suitors.

I don't have anyone that I am close enough to that has any issues. Friends of mine that want to date don't have problems finding them. That could also be due to our ages and social situations.

I don't know anyone personally, but the world is full of those people. They live under the delusion that sitting on the couch, looking at an app, is going to find them a date. Some even pay money to waste their time in such a way.
