When you feel safe with them. And i mean HONESTLY safe. Be REAL with yourself! A good partner makes you feel better about yourself and builds you up, not tears you down. A good partner may not always have the right answer. But a good partner is in there trying to communicate. Sometimes it's just a matter of understanding what your partner needs in a relationship. And that takes time sometimes to learn. Where a lot of women go wrong is they choose a man that has the best game. Well any guy can LEARN to do that. That doesn't make them genuinely a good choice. Learn to trust your common sense and distrust your feelings. Feelings will lie to you ALL DAY.

I don't know if there's a specific timeframe, but after a few weeks of dating you kinda should take a decision because else it's just a waste of time for everyone.
