That depends on how quickly your relationship turns into something very serious. In my first marriage, we knew each other for 18 months, dated for 9 months, before I proposed to her. In my second marriage, I proposed 4 months after we met. In both cases, she said Yes.
I always looked at marriage as the most important decision of my life because it is forever. I refused to consider the possibility of divorce, so I was very, very careful in my decision. I couldn't make a mistake. And I was in no rush.
I proposed to my wife a year after we met. We got married a year later. So we knew each other for two years. I'd say that is the minimum amount of time it takes to be absolutely certain.
We've been happily married now for 29 years, had LOTS of fun and built a wonderful life together.
3 years. Long enough to get to know them and live with them and see their daily habits, how they take care of themselves, how they spend their downtime, etc. Time reveals a persons true character, after all.
2 years because you basically know the person at that point..

I'm still at the point of 3 years. I'd live with them and learn what it's like to be with them in every way. If they bring me peace, are a good support system, and if I'm ready to have kids in the near future, I'll put a ring on it.
3 + years , people that get married fast are complete morons
Hard question.
If it's the woman of my dreams - very quickly. Less than a year potentially even. However I'm not a big believer anyhow in 💍 💍
Also keep in mind, if was a complete unknown then 3+ years
Needless to say, I'm about 32 and single, so I voted less than a year. Just because I could, tick ✅
I was ready to marry my husband within the first month. The only reason that didn't happen is that we both didn't want to get married OR live in the USA.
If he hasn’t put a ring on it after a year of dating, bye-bye. ✌🏾
Need to live together first and she needs to agree to a prenuptial agreement.
Not sure because most people people fail at marriage... regardless of how long they were together beforehand...
Honestly depends on the connection, some people just know
I got married 9 months in been married for 20 years.
Lol I hope the username isn't an inside reveal of the soul of "and we'll be divorced in another 10". ,👍🏻🫡
No spam no Troll, no offence meant. Just a psychological query or a curious mind me. mmm brain 🧠
Nobody gets divorced of they dont get divorced in 7 to 11 years. Divorce gets more unaffordable the more you have. Also. The hard part of staying together is when the lust is long gone. When tedious sex becomes unbearable. When she's heard all your funny stories 1000 times. Some how we find a way. A way to sneak off and fuck like kids for the 8 minutes you have away from kids and responsibilities
@Godihateyou is the only downside as well, the aging process? Goes for either genders "I'm not as prime as I used to be - even my skin is feeling dryer or less elastic"
Before we even bring up Meno or ED hahaha 🤣😂 ahead
Im 44 she is 43. She is pre menopause from our last child's pregnancy. At 39 It fucked her up. The last time we had sex (2 days ago) she woke me up and I said I wasn't in the mood. She said when did that ever matter. I went soft in her twice. First time ever. I think she is goint to have to try harder. She gets off every time I rarely do anymore.
I still love her and I think her 3 gray hairs are sexy. It all doesn't matter after awhile. If you have sex 300 out of 365 days out of a year for 20 plus years it gets unimportant
If she is my type of girl - less than a year.
3+ years
