What is the shortest length of time you would like to date someone before becoming engaged?

I am quite apprehensive to marriage but all I know is I definitely wouldn’t want to go beyond 3 years. How about you? Additionally, what is an ideal amount of time for you?

I highly recommend no less than 2 years, because people can keep up some form of a facade for that long. Usually a lot of their uglier traits and habits are showing by then.

When you're in your late 20s early 30s at least one year should be enough for you both to figure out if you're ready to take things to the next step or not.

I would "wait" as much as it takes... but perhaps one year could be enough, at the very "soonest" sounds about right
