I once dated a girl who had a learning disability. While she had a great personality and was extremely romantic and liked me a lot, I couldn't keep dating her once I realized just how bad the learning disability was. I once I asked her to read some of the book I was writing, and when she did, she said it was great, but she didn't understand any of it. I was like "How can it be great if you didn't understand any of it?" 😂 It was a huge turn off for me.

Studies show that men generally prefer women as intelligent or less intelligent than themselves, and women generally prefer men who are as intelligent or more intelligent than themselves. All most men want is a girl who is able to keep up with them in conversations and not question their intelligence at every turn.

I have deal-breakers but if none are present then intelligence is number one. If a woman can make me laugh, tell me something I don't know, can share my interests, I don't much care about her appearance. The best partner and the best sex I ever had was with a Ph. D. engineer who was a bit overweight.

When someone acts a certain way it’s usually manipulation to some degree or another. Being smart has so many benefits though someone cannot control their intelligence.

But you have to imagine if it’s an act. Why is this person doing this?

I can't date a dumb woman. The lack of basic thinking and common sense is one of my biggest buttons. Also men honestly what someone who is like their best friend, but with romantic benefits. We want chill, easy to get along with, accepting of who we are even when vulnerable, understanding, low drama, loyal, will joke around with us... etc.

Of course smart. That's why when i met a woman smarter than me, i married her.😆

But just because she's smarter than me doesn't mean she's always right. And because she humble enough to admit when she isn't is probably why i love her.

Except for the fact that she married me. I always tell her for as smart as she is i don't know what she was thinking when shw decided to marry me.😆

She doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist. But at the same time I’d like it if she has some sense, to know how to do some things in life. I think men like educated women as well, but not the ones who try to push it in their face.

I prefer intelligent women. Too bad MOST of them are not intelligent. They are usually ignorant, but somehow very confident.
