It depends how you define that. Men are worlds aparts from women on demands. Men only look for about 3 things in a woman. While women look for about 300 things in a man.😆 in that sense men DO have MUCH LOWER standards in a woman. WE HAVE TO! Very very few men have luxury of being choosey when it comes to women. Because while men find about 40 to 60 percent of women attractive only 10 to 20% percent of men are found attractive by women. In simple terms that means if a guy picks 10 women at random he's going to find 4 to 6 of them attractive enough to want to date them. But that means only.4 to.6 of those women will find HIM attractive. A woman' options are about 4 times higher. And we're talking RELATIONSHIP here. If it's just f***ing. A woman is a shoe in. She can sleep with just about any guy, and she knows it. This is why sex is not really a big thing with women, but guys it is. Scarcity increases value.

Now i'm not picking on women here. Women biologically have always filtered attraction through their feelings. So a guy has/had a big influence on changing these numbers to improve his odds. Get a woman to FEEL a certain way about him and his odd improve dramatically. But this factor has really changed over the past couple generations. It's not that women stopped feeling. It's that they have become significantly more masculine. Women still want to be pursued. But they want control over when and how. You don't have to be genius to understand how this unbalances everything.

Also women have become a lot more aggresive sexually. This further works against a woman's expectations. Because if a woman is not going to put her virtue on a pedestal, a man certainly isn't going to. Men as hunters will always take the path of least resistance. Why put in a bunch of effort with a woman that in the end may just reject you if another woman over there will sleep with you at the drop of a hat? Again this has really unbalanced the entire male-female interaction.

So you see, asking about standards only work if the goal is the same. Men and women both want love. But they have VERY DIFFERING views on how they define love. And that makes it impossible to concretely compare the two.

Depends on what we are talking about, but I think women have a strong perception that men will fuck anything but will only date the perfect trophy-wife.
Reality is men are not fucking nearly as much as women think (at least of the younger generations) and most men have arguably very low standards for the women they are willing to date. For most men the requirements are to be female and to not be a total parasite on him, but there are some men who will only want the Mary-sue of course.
I think women perceive men having very high standards due to a previous experience being rejected by a guy that had so many women actually like him he had the ability to be very picky.

Not for relationships. For hookups, most men will take any cisgender girl between eighteen and sixty who offers (and some aren’t too concerned about the age thing, especially when it comes to girls under eighteen).
