It shows here ability to be able to respect men and their authority. If a girl gets triggered by having a masculine figure that’s warning bells. How she gonna listen to her husband. Assuming th dad isn’t a bad person and/or unreasonable.

... It should be important for a dad to have a good relationship with his daughter.
Because it is parent's duty to establish and maintain a relationship as good as possible with their kids. Parents were the adult in the situation, this was their responsibility to prove they were respectable, to care for the kids. And if they did that, then I doubt any kid could have a bad relationship with them later on

I'm not saying a woman can't still be a good woman without a father or a father in her life so long as she has a father figure or a strong male role model in her life. You're right the numbers bear this out. Women without fathers or strong male role models in their life typically have low self esteem and or low self respect. And most will have touble recognizing quality men or establishing healthy bonds with men.
I agree with the general statement that it's important to have good relationship with your parents, but not worth the reasons you stated.
Let's be honest. Our childhoods fuck us all up in different ways. Yes, a good relationship with both parents is important. But a lot of things make the adult.
My dad has been n still is my best friend n he has helped me through my difficult times n helped shape my personality over the years... i definitely learnt so much from him
