Not since adulthood; not for very long anyway. Not too many women will tolerate an unemployed man. Their rhetoric about “equality” doesn’t match their actions in real life. Women do not want to be the primary breadwinner, let alone the sole breadwinner.

Do you feel unworthy if a relationship when you’re unemployed? Say someone really likes you and you kind of like her too, but you’re unemployed, and she’s unemployed, would you rather just forget about that and push her away? Or be in a relationship and try to find a way to make it work and helping each other find work? Or too much hassle? Single better?

been through various periods of unemployment over the years for various reasons , some girls would ask what i was doing and it usually go over badly if i told them the truth even if i tried to explain that i still sold stuff online on my own so wasn't totally without any income
