Any of you married someone who was a jobless? Does anyone in your family against your relationship?

I'm coming from financially stable family, I just happened to fall in love with someone who has no job. Day by day I'm getting stressed out with my family against our relationship. Almost everyday I cried seeing my parents said horrible things to us. I can't leave the house since we are Conservative family, which mean not allowed to live with him.

What can I do to deal with it? He is a great man. Much better than other guys who flirt around, drunk, smoke, has multiple female friends. It's just that he's not rich.! He doesn't live as a beggar. I'm so frustrated with my social life. Everything is controlled by toxic family

If he’s ambitious and works hard to look for a job then I don’t see a problem. I need you to realize that there’s two outcomes to your story. Either you choose to be with him regardless of your family’s support, which means there’s a high chance they might cut you off even financially well that’s if you rely on them, or you could let your family dictate who you end up with. If I was to pick it’ll depend on how long I’ve known him and how much I love him, keeping the fact that he could also pretend to love me in mind, but overall if I wasn’t dependent on my family for my income then I’ll sure choose him. Pls take time to weigh the important factors and the impact it has but hopefully you make the best choice for yourself.

If he just jobless for a small period of time it happens be supportive if he makes a career of laying on couch without effort that's a different story Also if he does all housework possibly takes care of kids that's not jobless that's a blessing

I had a boyfriend who became a slacker.

Meanwhile, my successes were growing.

He was probably hoping I'd assume the "sugar mommy" role for both of us.

I got rid of him.
