Why some people react like that and is it normal to feel bad about it ?

I’ve been single for three years straight, and I haven’t had much luck with dating or finding love.

Sometimes, when people find out I’m single, both men and women act so surprised when they see that I’m pretty or attractive. They question it as if it’s abnormal for someone who looks like me to be single. This happened again about a week ago.

Why do some people react this way? It makes me feel self-conscious, and I don’t understand why people act like being attractive means you should automatically be in a relationship.

Would it make you feel better if i told you i've been single for 50 years? Or would you just think, "dude you're even more pathetic than me." Cause i don't feel bad about it.

That depends on your mindset. 3 years is a lifetime for some people. Some people can't do three months. I made it through two months once and nearly went crazy. There are no rules regarding this. Everyone handles it differently.
