My opinion is that it’s because young women are encouraged to prioritise themselves over everyone. Like to be a wife and a mother you need a degree of selflessness. Gen Z and below don’t have that.
Like girls will only look at a guy and be like what does he do for me and not vice versa.

apparently this is a thing now. so in short this is an online dating trend where someone intentionally downplays their looks or status—using unflattering photos, outdated pictures, or omitting successes—to ensure potential matches like them for their personality rather than superficial traits.

looking back on our relationship, I thought the connection we had was special and unique! The memories we made have stayed with me, I thought what we shared was genuinely meaningful. I do find myself thinking about you and wondering how you’re getting on, you meant a great deal to me and I still miss you much!

When I last spoke to my ex she was really rude. She was horrible to me. I was just there taking the shots and saying sorry and I’ll do xyz to make her happy as I didn’t want her to leave.

When I look at the things I could have said about her, I could have said she’s emotionally unstable, insecure, v immature, flakey, selfish and not marriage material.
