I have somewhat been talking to this girl online lately. She is 18; I am 27. I keep telling her I am determined to marry her. You think we will make a great couple?

I’ve seen more and more of this go on over the last few years. I personally NEVER bring up politics on a first date. Agree or disagree it does absolutely nothing for romantic energy. However I’ve seen more and more women put men on the spot about this.

In a way it feels like a shit test. A guy might be tempted to seemingly agree just to please her because he wants to get laid. But also if he stands his ground and (tactfully) disagrees it can show that he is confident. For some women having that strong counter balance is a huge turn on because it’s a challenge.

But how do you react?

We’ve been seeing each other for 2 months. Last week she ghosted me most the week and this week I invited her on a date. She waited a whole 24 hrs to respond and said she was too busy for a date, and didn’t even offer to reschedule.

This really got on my nerves and I feel disrespected. I want to call her out and set my boundaries. I don’t really care if she leaves because I don’t want to be with someone who doesn’t respect me.

I am wanting me and a woman to be each other's very first loves. I don't want a woman with a romantic past, especially one that has been heartbroken by a guy before or formed a bond during her youth. They say you "never forget your first love" and the first love "always has a special place in one's heart". Ugh, I feel hopeless like I will not find what I am looking for.

like would you rather they explicitly ask “can I kiss you” and possible ruin the Mood or read the signs to determine if you want to be kissed and go for it if they see your interest without them asking like in the movies
