Girls, Would you date a guy who gets bullied?

I only get teased a little bit in school normally. It was really just getting called names sometimes but that happens to everyone. In bio this one kid shoots spitballs which is embarrassing but not too bad.

But a month ago two of the lacrosse players cornered me in the bathroom and flushed my head in the toilet like a fucking high school drama! and it feels like everyone in the school knows about it.

People laugh at me randomly. When I talk to girls now they make up an excuse to leave or try to ignore me. My confidence is gone, how do I fix it? I really want a girlfriend

Being bullied isn't a negative reflexion of you or the person you are, more the people that have to bully, hurt, or abuse someone to feel powerful... You should really report it to the school, your parents, and the authorities, because what they're doing is not okay... As for the girls in your school, that just shows their immature and lack empathy. Not someone you'd want to date. Wait to find a responsible/caring woman to date, not immature little schoolgirls...

I'm so far past high school it's not a very relevant question for me. My issue with those school days was how immature the boys were. I dated a bit, but mostly I just kept with my girl friends because they were more emotionally mature. Once I graduated high school, I almost immediately started bumping into mature men (late twenties) and they were light years beyond. They became my type of men.

I hope things are like that later. But I hear mixed messages. Some people tell me people don't really grow up that much and life is basically just high school forever :/ I'm assuming at least they don't shove you into lockers past a certain age though so that's nice.

The only people I've heard talk about high school, or believe it's the same as adulthood, or lament 'the good ol' days', are the ones who are emotionally stunted themselves. I wouldn't put my stock in it.

Once you are not locked in a building with them, you'll be able to better pick and choose who you want to surround yourself and associate with.
And venturing out into new places can be hard. But remember, it's always an opportunity to get to know people without any history or baggage. You can start anew.

Grand majority of institutions have a 0 tolerance for bullying. If I were you I'd report them.

Everyone gets bullied to some degree. I was bullied for my height and breasts. My partner is always bullied for his height and our height difference

Well, I would advise to ignore it as best you can and focus on finishing school. The thing is, if you are a good student, you are most likely headed to university or a job. Perhaps the military if you choose.

My point is, there is really little reason to worry about dating right now. Worlds will open up to you as you transition to next part of your life. The childish games of "high school" will be in the past.

Yup back in elementary school, the girls would pretend to be my friends and the guys would chase me knock me down and kick me. They'd also make fun of for multiple things especially with what happened in the first grade. It was all the way through elementary school that I got bullied. It wasn't just my class but nearly everyone in my grades throughout that bullied me. 😞

Well things got a whole lot better for me after I left that school. It was hard during those years in elementary school but somehow I managed to stay strong.
