The world really needs more people in the many various fields of science and mathematics.
what are you talking about there are a lot already
literally like 70% of my generation at high schools in my town are going for those fields

As long as you're paying for your own 'life choices' and not making your parents pay a load of money for crappy education, your life is yours to regret.
I said my dad will pay for it cause he wants to, he wants to support his children in whatever they want to do with their life. And I am willing to make the best out of it. So whatever, I will be happy with my life as long as I am not some 30 year old woman in a site like this insulting teenagers

By the way I have a 28 year old daughter who did her own thing in college. Majored in something stupid and is $81,500 in student loan debt working a job that doesn't need a college degree. The garnish her wages and take her tax return because she can't pay her student loan.
My life is indeed meaningless at the moment. I'm a teacher and school is out for 3 weeks because of the hurricane. So reading rants like yours is indeed entertainment. My 14 year old daughter thinks its funny too.

I wouldn't borrow money to do something that you think is unlikely to get you work though especially if it costs a lot do something you think will help you get work.
Its not ''borrowing money'' its my parent, its his job (and he wants to) pay for his kids' education. I am just choosing a different field. If we had to pay him all back my brother would be broke already lol. And of course I do plan to move my ass, I've been training for this since I was in middle school, not just sit and wait for money to make it happen lol thats not how it works, I know :)

As I said, I won't pay for anything while studying AT ALL (my dad does that for all of my siblings) and I will get help too if I struggle with money. Nah I won't complain if im unemployed. I can get money from anywhere ;)
